Always on time , no issues. The last few weeks have been awful , I book a taxi for 8.15am , it arrives at 9am, same the next day . I used the service again today to try them again , booked taxi for 8.20am, it arrived at 9.11am Just pathetic , I’ll be using a different service from now on , not even a refund offered. Fare came up to be around £25 on the app was used a save25 promo code for a 25 percent discount. Fare came down to around £19. Booked and paid using Apple Pay. Receipt received told me the charge was £22.15. Called the company and was told the fare before discount was about £29, so i was charged correctly! The fare of £29 and the charge of£ 22.15 never appeared on the app when fare was quoted and booking was made! Beware! He can say what he wants because he didnt wait long. ### 1/5 — Mrs S. *2025-01-18, version 3335.1.6* I booked a cab on 17th (yesterday) to get me to Arrow Park hospital for 7 45am today the 18th, waiting on the pavement in the cold damp had to call them to see where my cab was, an automated reply was to state your cab is six minutes away..Had to call them again as I had a CT scan booked and at 75 years old hate to be late.This time I waited for a call handler, I informed her my cab was 10 mins late, very rudely she told me I should booked it in plenty of time, I told her half an hour is plenty of time at this hour in the morning to get to Arrowpark hospital plus it was ten to eight then, she asked what time my appointment was I told her 8 15am, she told me I had plenty of time, what a contradiction to booking in plenty of time.. I told her the cab still has not arrived..she then stated WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO..The cab I’d booked for 7 45 am turned up at 7 55am..This is not the first time this has happened nor the second , so now I will do the talking with the walking…WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE OF A SERVICE…BYE BYE ARGYLE CABS.. ### 1/5 — Booking process *2024-12-10, version 3335.1.6* The driver, no issues. My issue is with the booking process, because I paid by card on app due to not having cash. My taxi was sent to driver for review on multiple occasions and declined. I don’t see why I have to wait longer for a taxi due to my payment method. This has never been an issue up until now. I seen it on your Facebook advert regarding the cancellation fees. People were complaining about this process, since then you have disabled comments.
