Amazing potential. ### 2/5 — Underutilization *2025-04-13, version 2.2.1* Platform as a whole works fine, but very few albums get chosen to be animated. I understand that it takes time and effort to churn out good animations, which is why there should be some sort of approval process where users of the app, or at least verified artists can submit their own work. 2/5. ### 2/5 — The app just doesnt work! *2025-03-12, version 2.2.1* This is an AR app yet when i use it nothing happens, it just has a video that does nothing. ### 4/5 — Ignore the bad reviews!! *2023-02-12, version 2.1.1* This app is actually cool and it works really well but they need to add more albums. The people leaving bad reviews need to realize that it’s not going to animate every single vinyl, since they literally have to HAND-ANIMATE every single vinyl animation. They’ve only done the most popular vinyls, since most people have them. ### 4/5 — needs work *2022-03-11, version 2.1.0* i have 11 vinyls. 6 are lana del rey, 4 are taylor swift and 1 is olivia rodrigo. out of all 11 of those albums and very well known artists, only one vinyl was recognized (born to die lana del rey) and tbh i was surprised they had that one and not taylor swift but like really, no taylor swift?!? just surprising. the one it did was pretty cool and i’m not gonna give bad stars for something that’s out of their control, there’s a lot of albums, but it would just be nice to have some newer stuff done. ### 4/5 — I think it’s cool but… *2022-02-21, version 2.1.0* So I think the app is really good but I could only animate my Micheal Jackson one. I have a view others like sour, crybaby, and happier then ever I don’t have a lot but I was kinda upset it didn’t work on the others. ### 2/5 — doesn’t work on A LOT of albums *2021-10-10, version 2.0.0* I have a Beastie Boys (Licenced to ill) album i wanted to see come to life but it wouldn’t work which is disappointing because the Licenced to ill album is very popular and i’d expect it to be there. The one it chooses to animate is, Swimming By Mac Miller………. I tried it on my album the sciences by sleep and obviously to be expected it didn’t work. I knew it wasn’t going to work but I think there should still be a way to suggest albums for artwork. ### 1/5 — All it is is some video super imposed with image tracker *2022-05-02, version 2.1.0* I had much much higher hopes for this than what it actually is. With AR, you usually assume 3D projected into real space via LiDAR or spatial compute. This is just playing video based on an image tracker. Not to mention the app is quite slow to download the video or for some doesn’t even register. Could have skipped the book all together and just went to the artists instagrams and viewed it through there. ### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Time *2022-03-29, version 2.1.0* Downloaded this app to use on my record collection ( I have about 45, so a wide range of genres and more “popular” albums from over time” and none of them except one were recognized. Don’t waste your time with this app if you’re looking for any album to work. I seen this on tiktok and thought it was cool; but the only album that worked is Thriller by MJ. Widen your range of albums if you want better reviews ### 1/5 — Great Idea, poor quality *2022-03-18, version 2.1.0* I have an extensive record collect (close to 150) and the app only works with 3 vinyls 😕. I wish there was a library of sorts so users would know which albums work and which ones don’t. ### 1/5 — doesn’t work on most albums *2022-01-10, version 2.1.0* the app doesn’t work for some of the most popular albums of all time. I’ve tried it on Beatles albums, zeppelin albums, and I get nothing. I understand that the developers of this app are human, and it takes a good amount of work to create an animation for just a single album. I think this app has a lot of potential - I hope they really do something with it. But please don’t go on expecting all of your albums to suddenly be animated, chances are none of them might be - especially if most of what you own are indie or just less popular artists..
