### 3/5 — Looks great

*2026-10-20, version 1.4.10*

Want to sign up but cannot put my current weight in as I weigh more than what the maximum is on the app, which is disheartening as it won’t truly track my progress

### 3/5 — Love the App! Not able to login since last update…

*2026-10-19, version 1.4.10*

Subscription has been paid, on 2nd year now and I am unable to enter the app…

### 3/5 — An Amazing Concept With Room to Level Up

*2026-10-15, version 1.4.10*

First, I want to give credit where it’s due. Using Solo Leveling as inspiration for a fitness app is a fantastic idea. Turning workouts into quests and progress into leveling up has enormous potential to motivate people who struggle to stay consistent. That’s why I want to see Arise succeed.

I’ve run into a few issues, though. I’ve received badges for accomplishments I don’t believe I’ve earned, and I’d like clearer explanations of what rewards are and what they unlock.

My workouts also seem to repeat across my four training days, with roughly 12–16 workouts cycling through them. I don’t know whether this changes over time or whether I selected a setting that caused it, but I’d love more variety without having to manually replace exercises.

Equipment and goals could use more flexibility, too. I own a BowFlex but couldn’t select it specifically. I’d also like to combine goals, such as maintaining my weight while building muscle and improving cardio. My current plan doesn’t appear to include cardio, despite choosing a well-rounded setup. Clearer settings and the ability to change goals after setup would help.

Here’s where I think Arise could become something special: let the System actually behave like the System.

Offer an optional Hunter Mode that generates varied quests and training days within the user’s schedule, equipment, fitness goals, and recovery needs. Add an initial fitness assessment, adaptive workout difficulty, and an easy way to flag unavailable exercises. A Real Life Happens option and a Full Recovery mechanic could help users handle illness and unexpected interruptions without feeling punished.

Gear, hidden achievements, dungeons, and boss battles could make progression even more exciting. Most importantly, qualified fitness professionals should help ensure that the workouts are balanced, safe, and effective. The game mechanics should support real fitness progress, not replace it.

Finally, $14.99 per month feels steep for the experience I’ve had, although my annual subscription is much more reasonable.

I may have missed some existing features or settings, and I recognize that these are suggestions rather than proof that every user has the same problems. I genuinely like the concept and want to see it reach its potential.

Make the fitness engine as good as the game engine, and Arise could become much more than a workout app. It could help people build healthier habits, challenge themselves, and feel proud of their real-world progress.

### 3/5 — Support desk won't respond

*2026-10-13, version 1.4.10*

I'm getting an invalid token when I try to sync my apple account and Helpdesk or contact us pages hasn't replied

### 2/5 — Can’t log in

*2026-10-12, version 1.4.10*

The app was great at first when I paid for the year subscription and I was able to log in at first, but now when I try to log in it says that my credentials are no longer valid and won’t let me log in

### 3/5 — Requires you pay

*2026-10-05, version 1.4.10*

I was really eager to start this. The app looked like it was made just for me. There was no warning in the ad or anywhere during sign up that it cost money. Disappointed.

### 2/5 — Signed me out and wont let me back in

*2026-10-01, version 1.4.10*

It was a good way for me to get active but yesterday when i went to work out i had found that it kicked me out and the one way to get in is to pay again when in june i payed for the whole year and its only September also when ever i try to restore my account it just say it cant find it without allowing to to sign in or anything. If i could get help to fix this that would be wonderful!
Update
They haven’t tried to reach out to fix it so I’m very disappointed in this whole app and the people running it.

### 2/5 — Was Good until it wasn’t.

*2026-09-30, version 1.4.10*

App is actually good until it randomly says I no longer have a subscription after paying for a whole year.

No support when you email.

Has an option to join a discord server that doesn’t exist.

And when restoring purchases it doesn’t realize I have and account.

### 2/5 — Having account issues - 9/28 update

*2026-09-29, version 1.4.10*

9/28/26: it’s been a week since I have received the response to my review from the developer. They told me I should be able to log in and the error I’m receiving is just a dropped session. I was told they would be going into the internal settings and correct the issue. Afterwards, I would receive direct communication from the development team. If you guys are still working the issue, can you just give me an update so I’m not thinking you forgot about me. I appreciate it.

9/19/26: I have a year long subscription and now when I try to sign in it says invalid user token. The links to the developers don’t work. I’m unsure how to request support now that I can’t even log in. So hopefully you guys see this review.

### 1/5 — Lying is terrible

*2026-09-28, version 1.4.10*

Calling an app free but forcing payment to use it does not make it free. Garbage company

### 1/5 — Purchased the subscription and now I cannot sign in

*2026-09-26, version 1.4.8*

I purchased the subscription and everything was working just fine until I couldn’t sign in anymore. It logged me out and then tells me to continue login with Apple ID, everytime I try to login it says syncing data and then gives me an error telling me I need to sign back in. So I’m basically just stuck in a loop, then not to mention if you go to the website to reach out to support it apparently doesn’t exist. Wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone

### 3/5 — Rating

*2026-09-25, version 1.4.8*

Overpriced but still it is very good

### 2/5 — Should be a paid app

*2026-09-25, version 1.4.8*

So, you can’t do anything without a subscription. So you can’t even tell if the app is usable or the workout instructions are any good. The score it gives you initially is based only on your BMI (meaningless), what you say your activity level is, and maybe age. The “plan” it shows you before subscribing only lists the first day of exercises. Who knows, it could be as good as the other reviewers say, but I don’t feel like spending 20-50 bucks to find out - or spamming my friends to get a 7 day trial.

### 4/5 — WE NEED forearm workouts

*2026-09-25, version 1.4.8*

Missing some muscle groups, would like workouts thats target the forearms!!!

### 3/5 — Great idea, execution still needs work

*2026-09-24, version 1.4.8*

I love the idea behind the app, but even with the paid subscription it’s lacking a number of features that are considered standard on many other fitness apps

### 1/5 — It signed me out, even though I have a subscription I logged

*2026-09-24, version 1.4.8*

I was signed out of my app and I logged back in. You know I have a subscription. It does not let me go to my account. It tells me there is no account found and I am subscribed until October 13 of this year. Can we fix this issue ASAP? and I’m using the right email.

### 1/5 — greedy money grab

*2026-09-22, version 1.4.8*

all they want is my money

### 1/5 — Cannot even use the app

*2026-09-21, version 1.4.8*

It will no longer let me in the app and sign in and no customer service will even respond. Still waiting on a response from developer as of 9/5/2026

### 2/5 — Having account issues

*2026-09-21, version 1.4.8*

I have a year long subscription and now when I try to sign in it says invalid user token. The links to the developers don’t work. I’m unsure how to request support now that I can’t even log in. So hopefully you guys see this review.

How long will it take before I can gain access back to my account?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Literally a scam

*2026-10-23, version 1.4.10*

I paid for a monthly subscription and it would never let me sign in and would continue to make me do all the questions everytime I opened the app would not save a single workout or anything it just kept saying g invalid token when I tried to sign in then when I completed the questions again I would again try to sign in and it would say email already used on another account complete waste

### 1/5 — Scam.

*2026-10-21, version 1.4.10*

Cant sign in won’t work. Repeated emails about “updates and fixes” but nothing is working don’t waste your money when you can’t even use the app.

### 1/5 — Pay 4 yearlong subscription. Can’t log in to original account. New accounts disappear daily.

*2026-10-19, version 1.4.10*

My first account, which is connected to Apple ID, no longer works. Says something like “token error” every time. So I made a new account yesterday and restarted everything. Today when I get on the app: it says i need to sign in AGAIN but it only lets me sign in to my Apple ID account (which again, doesn’t work), my new account from yesterday has vanished. So I have to make a whole new account every single day I want to use the app. After paying for the year.

### 1/5 — Can’t log into the app even though I paid for the subscription

*2026-10-15, version 1.4.10*

Not letting me log in after I paid for subscription

### 1/5 — REQUIRES SUBSCRIPTION

*2026-10-11, version 1.4.10*

Says so in the description of the app.

### 1/5 — Not as advertised

*2026-10-11, version 1.4.10*

First, you must pay to use the app AT ALL.
Second, you answer a questionnaire that asks what equipment you have on hand. The app immediately ignores this info and gives you quests with all different types of equipment. (I have dumbbells only)
Third, the questionnaire asks your fitness level. The app immediately ignores this info and gives a quest with complex exercises and more reps than are reasonable for an E rank workout.
Lastly, tracking nutrition is an advertised ability of the app. There is no such ability.
Even free this app isn’t worth it.

### 1/5 — No longer lets you log in

*2026-10-05, version 1.4.10*

I paid for the year loan subscription and a few months in it logged me out and gives me error code so I can no longer log back in. I’ve lost all of the points I had acquired.

### 1/5 — Costs money

*2026-10-03, version 1.4.10*

If i need to pay to lose weight, I'd see a surgeon

### 1/5 — I can’t log into my account

*2026-10-01, version 1.4.10*

I’ve been trying to log back into my account and it won’t let me keeps giving me some weird error code I would like help bc the apps not that bad

### 1/5 — Subscribed now can’t access

*2026-09-28, version 1.4.10*

I purchased a one year plan and for some reason, I can’t log in with Apple account. When I log in, it says user’s credentials is no longer valid and only gives me options to log in again. There’s no way to go to settings and there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact customer support. Please help.

09/28/2026 Update: still no way to contact. Was told someone would reach out to me. Nothing. Demanding a refund.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app BUT…

*2026-10-02, version 1.4.10*

Been using this app for a little while now, I know the paywall turns a lot of people away.
My experience has been nothing but positive however a few suggestions / feedback that I can provide:

- trial period: this will / should eliminate a lot of 1 star reviews or paywall concerns.

- Apple Health integration / fitness integration if supported.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-09-18, version 1.4.8*

It’s a really great app but can you guys please add widgets? Everyone would love that.

### 5/5 — Better than expected

*2026-08-28, version 1.4.8*

So I’m seeing a lot of one star reviews, and the main issue people have is that you have to pay for the app. I don’t usually write reviews but after using the app for a while now and really enjoying it, i wanted to come back to see what people thought of it as well. Now we know how reviews work, most people who enjoy something wont come back to say so, while others who have nothing better to do but hate on things want to be loud and obnoxious and bring others down. This app has helped me stay motivated when I was slowly getting out of fitness. The fact that you have options for either just at home workouts, or have at gym workouts is awesome. The progression isn’t too slow so you feel like you’re actually levelling up, but not too fast so that it feels like your getting special treatment or they’re trying to make it easy so you just keep the app for nothing. Of course there are areas to improve, like when I want to replace a workout, the pop up for it is at the top right for some reason instead of where the actual option for switching a workout is, or I would like to be able to add cardio to my workouts to gain XP. And it would be cool to have like mini quests during the day you can do on top of your actual workout. But if you’re looking for a good workout app, to actually get fit, it’s worth it in my opinion to invest the money. You’re investing in yourself when you do so. There are other apps that are free, and I’ve tried them, but this one so far is my favourite. Good work guys.

### 5/5 — Help

*2026-08-26, version 1.4.8*

App is beautiful but im having problem signing in and have no way to reach support

### 5/5 — Subscription before you try

*2026-08-23, version 1.4.8*

Hopefully this gets shown on the front. You can’t use the app unless you pay! There are only two options- $15 per month or $50 yearly.. pass

### 5/5 — Widgets

*2026-08-11, version 1.4.8*

That’s all you’re missing Widgets for the phone and Apple Watch compatibility’s similar to what it already does but helping calculate how much you’ve done when to drink water when it’s time to eat. Things of that nature would be pretty cool. Let’s say I burn a certain amount of calories the watch would detect that within the diet portion to the app and alert accordingly and it would be cool to see alert penalty incoming on your wrist.

### 5/5 — Все круто

*2026-08-02, version 1.4.6*

### 5/5 — I hope they listen to me

*2026-07-28, version 1.4.6*

I really wish there was a free version

### 5/5 — Neu anmelden

*2026-07-22*

Edit: funktioniert wieder alles 🔥🔥🔥

### 5/5 — The worst for kids

*2026-07-16, version 1.4.6*

Need money would not recommend
