### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-01-03, version 1.8.3*

App has not worked for several weeks now. It won’t let me add for remove any intervals on the actual app. Have to log into the website to access starmatic. Very annoying. Please fix the bug.

### 1/5 — Absolutely useless.

*2025-10-12, version 1.8.3*

It’s easier to just log in from your browser. The app doesn’t work correctly.

### 1/5 — Can’t choose or release intervals

*2025-09-26*

Every single interval I try to choose or release doesn’t allow me to and says that my IB has exceeded the cap when that isn’t the case. I used to be able to choose my schedule easily on my phone but for the past two days I can no longer use my phone to choose hours. It was helpful but now the app needs to be fixed so that I can choose and release intervals on my phone again.

### 1/5 — Big Bug needs fixed

*2025-09-18, version 1.8.3*

I had this app a few years ago and no issues. Now I’m trying to get it again and it won’t even open. Other friends have iPhones and it opens perfectly for them. Not very convenient when I need this for my hours and servicing.

### 1/5 — Not Good

*2025-01-02, version 1.6.4*

Hasn’t been updated in years, which is why it was removed/suspended by Apple from the App Store the first time. This will happen again. Arise was not truthful in stating over a year that the app would be updated once it was returned to App Store.

### 1/5 — Not working at all

*2024-11-08, version 1.6.4*

Whenever you try to open it. It never works. It’s so frustrating.

### 2/5 — No app notification on iOS

*2024-10-31*

I have been using iOS and ever since I had this app I never receive notifications for any intervals that are available or swaps that are accepted… no notifications from this app at all. Notifications both in the app and on my device are on and background app refresh is also on but I do not get notifications at all. Can this be enabled on the next update please

### 2/5 — Please enable mobile notifications

*2024-08-23*

The app is okay, I like it for the most part but it definitely could use more updates. One of them should be enablement of actual mobile notifications when it is selected. I service 2 clients on the platform and it would be helpful to receive a text message or push motivation to my device when there are service intervals available, swaps were successful and more. App developers, please take this into account and update the app. This would really help a lot of agents out.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2024-06-25, version 1.6.4*

The app was working for months and just stopped working about 2 weeks ago. My client info does not populate so the app is useless to me. I’m deleting it. The app is trash like that.

### 1/5 — Not reliable

*2024-06-21, version 1.6.4*

Works sometimes. When you open the app, unable to access starmatic which is the only reason for me to use Arise on the go.

### 1/5 — Fix the app!

*2024-06-20, version 1.6.4*

It just stopped working all of a sudden, I keep contacting support but no one responds!

### 1/5 — Going on a week and still down☹️

*2024-06-19*

I’m disappointed. I have been missing out on hours because they app isn’t working and won’t allow access to my schedule. Since I can’t be attached at the hip to my computer this app was supposed to make my work life easier, has not been the case this week. Please get this fixed soon!

### 1/5 — When it works

*2024-06-18*

Nice when it works. Right now it logs me in and wa ya me to select my client. When I go to do that it log me into the main platform which does not work on a phone. It a vicious cycle. I can’t drop hours until I’m in front of a computer. This app is suppose to make things easier and it definitely is not.

### 1/5 — Just stopped working!!

*2022-08-03*

The app *was* overall functional, a few glitches here and there telling me I had no clients or not able to connect even with internet access— but for the most part it was helpful enough. Now, it started last week and and I have been unable to reliably log on to view my schedule…why is there no support??!!

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE

*2022-04-17, version 1.6.4*

The app is called “On the Go”. Not an appropriate name. It worked a couple of weeks ago. When my power was down, I could release intervals with less negative job status. Now, I can’t even open it to do anything. The techs at work aren’t trained in this app.

### 1/5 — This app is trash

*2022-02-20, version 1.6.4*

There is literally no point in this app. Arise disabled starmatic mobile which worked fine and was convenient to check and select intervals on the go. you can’t even see or select intervals available on this app. literally no point in creating this garbage app .

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please bring back the old app

*2026-06-29, version 3.0*

The new update sucks! I’ve missed scheduled intervals due to the schedule not syncing to my calendar. We didn’t ask for this!

### 1/5 — Go back to old version

*2026-06-26*

This new update is not user friendly it does not sync with your calendar, you can’t select or swap hours getting an error every time.. You can’t see your total hours selected only showing how many interval is selected leaving you to do more work/calculation. You can’t see which day you had any no shows to check for discrepancy like before. You have this weird timing schedule that you have to select either AM or PM it does just show the hours for the full day! I don’t understand why this change was necessary making it more difficult. Why does it have less information? it’s like the ones using the app opinion don’t matter. Go back to the old version this is really bad this is not a good look.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-06-21, version 3.0*

This app is horrible releasing and swapping shifts does not working!!! It won’t release then either. The other app was way better this doesn’t help us as agents at all

### 1/5 — Update is terrible

*2026-06-21, version 3.0*

Interface is NOT user friendly and now my work schedule doesn’t sync to my phone calendar any more. Congrats developers, you have made app completely useless.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-06-04*

Worked for arise as my own IBO for a few months, most of the programs u work for they are a mess and takes too much time for training, and the only one i was working perfectly fine, arise decided to cut me off the platform with no reason at all and i had no problems either the client

### 1/5 — WARNING: Update Disappointing

*2026-06-01*

Finally updated 2 days ago and it’s worse. Ugly user interface and just as unusable and nonfunctional as before. Thank goodness I had the old version installed both on my iPhone and iPad and it did not update to the new version automatically on my iPad because I have automatic updates turned off so now I use my iPad to access the old app and it also synced back to my calendar on both devices. ***So do yourself a favor and immediately turn off automatic app updates for that app and if you have it on another device, so you can use it there.

### 1/5 — Is there a negative star system?

*2026-05-19*

The app has recently updated and it is WORSE! How do you out trash, trash? This app has made it happen. The app is trash.

Before the calendar would sync to my calendar, now it doesn’t even do that. The ONLY good thing about the app is that you can look up your schedule. You cannot select hours, release hours or have your time synced. BUT you can review your intervals from your phone.

### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible

*2026-05-16*

The previous version of this app was already very bad. This new release from a few days ago is a better attempt, but it's still horrible. The schedule/intervals no longer sync with the calendar like the previous version did, and the interface is now much more confusing. I honestly don't understand how a company that supposedly brings in so much money cannot build an app that is efficient, reliable, and functional.

### 1/5 — No weekly view.

*2026-05-15, version 3.0*

It was very useful to be able to view my schedule for the week all on one page; now I have to click through every single day and every time block to see what my hours are. The app is basically unusable.

### 1/5 — Pathetic Update

*2026-05-08, version 3.0*

Useless update and now you have to click n times to see schedule. earlier it gave weekly view and now for each day we have to click 4 times increasing effort

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App works fine

*2024-02-16*

I have been using the app for a while now and I have had no issues my intervals go through I can see my schedule and if you are not able to is because it hasn’t been posted yet it’s not because of the app I like it I am not sure why there is a lot of bad reviews.

### 4/5 — New to Arise

*2021-03-17*

I only recently started servicing through Arise. I must say that the recent updates look great and it’s good to see that Arise is on top of things. I find the ratings on this app to be unfair as I haven’t experienced any issues thus far. I’m a bit annoyed that Starmatic via mobile web was disabled, however, because it was easier to see the whole week at a glance and without scrolling, but I don’t think the app will be hard to get used to.

### 4/5 — Needs work but a good start

*2019-09-09*

The app adds my hours to the calendar which is fabulous, it only adds two weeks though so I still need to add manually until it shows. The layout is a little clunky with lots of scrolling.

### 3/5 — Love the potential

*2025-09-23*

The app doesn’t allow me to add or remove hours anymore it states “your IB has exceeded the max number of selectable program cap override hours”. However when I go to the arise portal and access systematic from there I’m able to edit my hours perfectly fine. So it’s not an IB issue, it’s strictly the app issue. Definitely need a fix, because this app was so helpful initially, this is only a recent issue and I would love for this bug to get fixed!! Thanks a bunch!!

### 3/5 — Was great

*2024-06-21*

App was doing fabulous and I was enjoying its portability and flexibility. Then it stopped working. It is showing I don’t have a client to service. Arise website doesn't work on my phone either. Can only access my schedule now from my personal computer. Really is awful.

### 3/5 — Update?

*2023-08-03, version 1.6.4*

Rumor has it an updated / new version of the IOS and android app is supposed to be coming out soon. Confirmation would be nice as well as some kind of expectation date. An update to the accuracy and more real time results would also be greatly appreciated. I like have the app available for when I’m not around my computer, but I need it to function like I am at my computer for it to be any kind of effective for my needs.

### 3/5 — Is Anybody There? Not a well maintained app

*2021-10-25*

I recently noticed the links at the top of the app and took a look at Notifications. There was a link about updated equipment that I opened. After scanning the article, I looked for a link to return to my schedule. There was none! I suppose I could have waited a while to see if it would eventually default to the app’s home page, but I wanted to get back to my schedule.
I had to uninstall then reinstall the app to get back to the home page. Not a good look!
There have been so many suggestions for improvement logged here that one would easily conclude that the app was in dire need of a complete overhaul.
Is anyone home?

### 3/5 — Could use some improvement

*2021-09-06*

The main gripe I have is a combination of the app and starmatic itself. When new schedules are open (or caps are lifted), and we choose multiple intervals, if just one of those intervals is no longer available it doesn’t give us any of the other selected intervals so we have to start over. And when you got multiple agents in there trying to grab intervals at the same time, if you have to start over then the intervals that were originally available are gone now. That’s a big annoyance with me and many other agents I’m sure.

### 3/5 — Not too bad

*2020-12-14, version 1.3.1*

I downloaded the app for the first time today and it doesn’t seem awful. It’s just as slow as accessing the website.

### 3/5 — Good looking and solid design but crashes all the time

*2020-07-25, version 1.2.3 Build 0.1*

I really like how I can look at my schedule and it attaches to my calendar, but this app crashes a bunch.
