With a kitchen water heater? *2026-08-04, version 7.0.2* Andris Elite Wifi. Please revisit your water heater “scheduling” function in the app. Its very much useless. It only lets you schedule two 30min slots (“showers”) a day for the water to heat. Please allow standard scheduling where time slots / brackets can be chosen. I have even knocked the boiler off reinstalled the app while it’s off when the boiler then restarts normally the app still has the error and won’t let you cancel. Kindest regards, Support Team ### 1/5 — Not fit for purpose *2025-08-17, version 6.0.6* I’ve had the new boiler and app a few weeks now in order to give it a fair review. 0 stars from me!!!! -There is no way to see by looking at the boiler if it is currently heating, or is on schedule - WHAAAAT!!! So the only way my family know if the boiler is heating is to check on MY phone 👎🏼 -There is no way to set a basic 1hr timer 👎🏼 -I cannot set a time range for it to heat 🤯 These alone are 3 basic things someone needs with a boiler - *to be able to see if it’s heating, and like most households, *have the need to put it on for 1 hr, timed!! I now have to use my phones timer to remember to turn it off! Settings by showers is archaic…WHAT is that all about??!!??!! **I have more control over things using a cheap CHINESE WiFi plug. These do everything I need - you should take a leaf out of their book Ariston! It’s now winter and we haven’t been able to set our boiler correctly for days. Today is first day the app has decided to work. This isn’t on you need to update this app or find the bugs in it to stop it crashing. Like I said nothing in our house has changed so this app should work all the time but it doesn’t. FIX IT ### 2/5 — Mr bradley *2023-01-15, version 4.27* Annoying that Ariston claims good customer service in my experience it’s crap, ### 2/5 — App V4.7 *2021-01-12, version 4.7* It would appear that App V4.7 has an issue. It was rolled out to my system on the 22nd of Dec 2020 (who rolls out software just before Christmas I ask you a recipe for disaster.) Since then my heating scenarios have all stopped working. I have tried using the template scenarios no luck. I’ve tried deleting the App and starting again no luck. I’m reduced to manually turning the heating up each day. I have now also tried a factory reset of the cube. No luck. I’ve had no luck with the technical department. Ariston thermo are not telling them there is even an issue. I’ve also emailed Mr Findik the ceo but he has not responded to me either. Pretty poor show I think. Update: This issue has now been solved. The issue was that the boiler time clock switch was set to timed. I’m fairly certain it has not been changed so can only assume that the new version of the app treats that input differently. I.e it allows the time clock to take priority over the cube. The technical manager and service manager did work hard over the weekend in the end to fix the issue. It’s just a shame that it took some extreme actions on my part (looked them up on linkedin) to get them to talk to me. ### 2/5 — Wouldn’t be hard to do better *2020-12-04, version 4.4* Had this for a few months and it’s a source of constant frustration. Frankly, if it was easy to change my boiler to avoid using this app then I would. Knowing Ariston read this, here is my list of issues: - setup was a nightmare. I connected then, for some reason disconnected. It required two engineer visits to fix, as well as use of another device - about one morning in three I have to reboot the boiler as the app doesn’t connect. - the app doesn’t work when the internet is down. A basic robust protocol should allow a connected app and boiler on the same network to just work. - as other reviewers have noted, the interface is far from intuitive. I’d recommend the addition of a boost button to give a 15 min surge, but making it generally more consistent with other apps would be good. - setting the timer on my iPad is incredibly fiddly. Goodness knows what it is like on an iPhone. Maybe allowing people to set times with numbers rather than on a line would help - sometimes the app thinks it’s 20C, when the remote says something much lower - the app is a horrible energy sapper. I can almost see the battery level running down as I use it. And sometimes the app is slow to send the command to the boiler so I shut down the app after a minute but it hasn’t turned the boiler on. - not an app thing directly, but the minimum of 10C is too high I think that’s enough to be get on with. When something else goes wrong, I’ll try to come back and add it. - one more: when I open the app in landscape it won’t work at all a doesn’t rotate back to portrait with moving my iPad ### 2/5 — Useless! *2020-09-28, version 4.3* Constant crashes, logging out, failure to change schedules, poor controls... literally a nightmare!
