What are the Spider Solitaire rules?
The rules of spider solitaire classic depend on how many suits you choose to play with, and your options are four suits, two suits and one suit.

Rules of four suit solitaire:
- You can move the top solitaire card onto a pile if it ranks lower than the one it’s placed on
- You can only move groups of cards if they’re in the same suit and in descending order.
- Cards that are face-down in open columns have to be turned over
- If you’re unable to make any moves then you can deal ten cards
- Complete piles that are in descending order by suit can be removed from the game

Rules of two suit solitaire
- Cards are split 50/50 into a single red and single black suit
- You can move groups of cards if they’re in descending order and either red or black
- Complete piles that are all red or black and in order can be removed

Rules of one suit solitaire
- You can move any group of cards that are in descending order
- Don’t block solitaire cards by moving cards incorrectly

The standard version of spider solitaire uses four suits, so it’s a good idea to learn the rules for this and master them.

“Old” version played fine with card piles from left to right… just like a game played within”real” cards.
New version has cards vertical to left or right.
Difficult to,play, and not enjoyable.
