## What is Arkiva?

Arkiva keeps your family's important papers in one private place: ID cards and passports, bills, bank letters, contracts, medical records, school reports. Scan them once, find any of them in seconds, and know that only your family can read them.

SCAN LIKE A FLATBED SCANNER
• Take a photo at any angle, on any table: Arkiva finds the page, flattens it, crops it and makes the paper white
• Add photos from Photos and PDFs from Files, Mail or WhatsApp
• Many pages stay one document; add, rotate or remove pages any time

FOUND IN SECONDS
• Every word on every page is read on your iPhone and becomes searchable
• The title, the category and the family members are suggested for you
• Filter by person and by category: bills, IDs, health, school, bank, contracts and more

YOUR WHOLE FAMILY
• Add your family's phones with a QR code
• With iCloud, everyone sees the same archive, kept in your own iCloud account and encrypted
• Remove a lost phone and the archive key is changed

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every document is encrypted on the iPhone (AES-256) before it is saved. The keys stay in the Secure Enclave and open only with Face ID or your passcode. Arkiva has no accounts, no servers of its own, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The developer never receives your documents or anything about them.

THE 24-WORD RECOVERY PHRASE
When you create the archive, Arkiva shows 24 words. Write them on paper and keep it safe. With the 24 words and a backup file, the archive can be restored on a new phone. Without them, nobody can open it again, not even us. That is what real encryption means.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Arkiva speaks Albanian, English, Italian, German, French and Greek, and reads documents in Latin-script languages such as Albanian, English, Italian, German and French. Search ignores accents, so "fature" finds "faturë" and "Strasse" finds "Straße".

Arkiva is free, with no in-app purchases and no sign-up.
