Real Encryption

Most vault apps hide files behind a lock screen. ArkWarden encrypts every file using Apple's CryptoKit with a key derived from your pattern.

Capture Straight to Your Vault

Take photos and record videos directly inside ArkWarden. They go straight into your encrypted vault and never touch your camera roll.

View your photos and videos full screen. Swipe to see the next one.

Pattern Lock

Draw your own unlock pattern instead of typing a PIN. Faster, more private, and harder to observe over your shoulder.

Second Vault

Set a second pattern that opens a completely separate vault with its own files, its own look, and its own identity. Hand over your phone without hesitation. Your main vault stays invisible.

Face ID, Touch ID, PIN and YubiKey NFC

Unlock instantly with biometrics. Add a PIN code as a second factor for an extra layer of security. Or add a YubiKey NFC hardware key for strong multi-factor authentication.

Recovery Phrase

A 12 or 24-word recovery phrase protects you if you ever forget your pattern. Written down once, stored by you.

Backup & Restore

Keep an encrypted copy of your vault so you never lose it. Back up automatically to your own iCloud, or export an encrypted backup file you can store anywhere. Your vault is always encrypted on your phone first. To restore from iCloud you need the same Apple ID and your recovery phrase. An exported backup file restores on any device using only your recovery phrase. Apple and our team cannot restore your vault for you. Backup is off until you turn it on.

Stealth Pattern

Hide your unlock pattern as you draw it. The trail stays covered so the shape cannot be read over your shoulder, and you unlock the same way as always. Turn it on in Settings whenever you want extra protection in public.

Zero Knowledge

We never see your files, your pattern, or your keys. No account required. No ArkWarden server. No tracking. The encryption that protects your files is open source, so anyone can verify exactly how it works.
