If your mission is truly to help save souls, make it affordable—charge $1.99, use donations, or keep the core features free. There are hurting people everywhere right now—people battling depression, addiction, loneliness, fear, and hopelessness. If you have a tool that could help bring them closer to God, why put such a heavy price barrier in front of them? When an app charges that much for spiritual guidance, it starts to feel less like ministry and more like business. And that’s disturbing. Helping people find truth, wisdom, and a relationship with God should never feel like something reserved for those who can afford a monthly subscription. **Developer response:** I hear the heart in this — no one hurting should be priced out of help, and I feel that as much as you do. But like any ministry, this has real costs. The library, the team, the servers, the community running day and night — thousands a month, much of it our small team has funded out of pocket because we believe in it. Scripture says the worker is worthy of his wages, and a mission no one supports doesn’t survive to serve anyone. For those who can support it, the annual plan comes to less than a dollar a week — and that support is what keeps the doors open. For people facing genuine hardship, we work with them individually to find a way. That’s not selling faith. It’s what it costs to keep the armory standing.
