Most of the apps that I found were in adequate. When I came across this app all my needs were met. I’ve been in emergency medical services for close to 20 years in this application is very well rounded and easy to understand. I would recommend this application just as a general knowledge or to gift to someone will be out in the wilderness. ### 5/5 — Good for Trauma *2015-01-15* From a quick look-over, this seems to be just what it says. Worth well more than the $2 pricetag. Seems to cover all the most likely kinds of trauma. But, for example, there's nothing on a stroke. Here's what you need to know for that: FAST Face Drooping on one side. Ask person to SMILE. If smile lopsided, it’s a stroke. Arm Weakness….ask person to raise both arms. If one drifts downward, it’s a stroke. Speech Difficulty….ask to repeat simple sentence like “the sky is blue”. If it’s slurred, or mis spoken, it’s a stroke. Some content a little oriented toward soldiers but overall very useful. I bought it to use when the family goes camping.
