### 3/5 — Not bad. Definitely not a waste!

*2014-09-07, version 1.3*

The Good: I like the picture feature. It is simple to use, and easy to learn. It looks pleasing to the eye, where other apps look plain. Good for quick reference.

The Not-so-good: Can't input the unit's stats, so the app is not useful for game play.

Overall not bad. I like having a paper list in my hand, and this app makes it easier to create one. Worth the price, but it could be a little better.

### 3/5 — Army list

*2014-04-03, version 1.2.6*

Read one review in this n thought I'd give it a go, glad I did, so far so good.
Nice app.

### 4/5 — Likes

*2013-10-22, version 1.2.3*

Really helpful app easy and quick lists wish it was capable to put quick nots and stats in the lists but very useful

### 3/5 — Not saving?

*2013-09-22, version 1.2.2*

I like it! But my army list won't be saved after I close the app. So... Please fix this, as I have already tried to save my long work of even making the army list.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2013-09-15, version 1.2.2*

It good so far just add some preset units like battle scribe

### 4/5 — Good app, great support

*2013-09-15*

First saw this app from a friend. Loved the idea of including pictures with the army list. It did crash after I put in about an hour of work, and lost it. However I email the support and responded rather quickly. 2 things that I would like added would be when you unclick an upgrade, the sub upgrades would unclick or not be added to the total. Second would be the upgrade all number could be changed instead of adding an additional unit to be able to change the numbers.

### 4/5 — Very Good

*2013-07-18, version 1.1.2*

Really handy to have especially when you want to start a game ASAP without counting points every time. The only problem I have with this is that when I try to copy a unit, the program will either crash or copy it.

### 4/5 — Really great app

*2013-06-14, version 1.1.2*

This is a really great app for compiling army lists, of all the roster apps this is the easiest to use, clearest and I love that I can take and use a picture of my painted figure with the entry.
It would be a five star app if it had a stat line for the entry, maybe this will come with with a upcoming update, but other than that a brilliant app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2015-05-22, version 1.4.2*

App kicks you off and I can not get back on unless I reinstall. Thus losing my data entirely. So glad I didn't Input my whole codex.

Poor

### 1/5 — Seems to be a Con

*2014-07-19, version 1.3*

This app seems to be a con, no codex data

### 1/5 — Waste

*2014-07-15, version 1.3*

Done waste your money. Save the $3 and use pen and paper. That's all this is

### 1/5 — Redundant

*2013-12-08, version 1.2.4*

Pointless and unneeded. If it came with codex details, like point costs for units and upgrades it would be great, but as it is now standard notepad does the same job

### 1/5 — No go

*2013-08-21, version 1.2.1*

I had a lot of difficulty using this app. It crashed regularly and mixed all of my units up between their force organization slots. I would not recommend this app.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2013-08-12, version 1.2*

I bought this thinking it would be ok. What a piece of crap. It won't save a single unit you enter it just kicks you out. You can't have more than 5 armies or it won't even open.

### 2/5 — Watch out for crashes

*2014-05-26, version 1.2.6*

Although the interface was nice and that it was simple to use, it crashed on me and wouldn't open again meaning I had to put everything back in just for it to happen again

### 2/5 — Read first

*2013-08-12, version 1.2*

You have to insert every single piece of data and find pictures for this app to have purpose. They didn't list each army and its warriors it's just an organized way to write your army down

### 2/5 — Self Input?

*2013-08-11, version 1.2*

This App has no data already in the app, user has to input all of it. I wouldn't mind an in app purchase to get the records for my army put writing all this crap in myself is a pain... I'll probably just buy Army Builder...

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2013-05-23, version 1.1.2*

It's only a template u have to add your own images and info, hard to understand and useless IMO.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — An excellent list builder

*2015-06-20, version 1.4.2*

The greatest strength of this builder is its flexibility. You can create multiple list of the same army throughout the different editions for retro games. It allows you to earmark favorites to put in lists and is easy to use. The picture feature is fun and useful.

### 5/5 — 40k App

*2014-06-30, version 1.3*

Excellent App... Very well laid out... You can even take photos of your own units that you've painted which is a really good idea, & unique... The only problem I do have with this App is the Icon for the App itself, but that's very miner thing in my opinion... Other than that, it's a well deserved 5🌟

Well done, & thank you..

James 😉👍

### 5/5 — Too easy

*2013-12-27, version 1.2.5*

It has never been this easy to make my army list!

I have used many different army apps, but this is my favorite for sure. When creating complex units (for example commander with bodyguard, each guy having different weapons/upgrades with drones) you can add units w/in the unit and add upgrades to those. When you get the hang of it, it becomes really easy.

If you always take that one kitted out tank, or HQ, you can save him to a list of favorites, which make it really easy (and quick) to experiment with lots of different army lists.

It is not one of those apps where you have to download the lists, you have to input your points yourself. But like I said earlier, you can save your favorites and check/uncheck upgrades and it makes it very easy and quick to make changes to your list.

With the new update you have to swipe a unit away to remove it from your list.

Probably the best functioning app on the app market to make army lists!

### 5/5 — Wow really useful and convenient

*2013-12-26, version 1.2.5*

I got this and it was really good and worth the price thanks really helps

### 5/5 — The Hive Mind is Pleased

*2013-09-20, version 1.2.2*

Wow. NO extra data sheets to be downloaded, flexible options and input for both physical upgrades and psychic powers? Great sorting? This app is amazing and worth the $2! :D Definitely going to be plugging this app to the guys down at my local gaming shop, as a new 40k player this thing is such a great helper!

### 5/5 — Super helpful.

*2013-08-31, version 1.2.2*

I am very pleased with this app. It has helped me get over a massive lag in my hobby.

### 5/5 — .

*2013-06-30, version 1.1.2*

Suits my use for this perfectly. 50% taking inventory of all my models and 50% keeping track of staple point armies.

### 4/5 — User friendly and quite polished.

*2014-03-21, version 1.2.6*

I actually like this very much. I've used others and been disappointed. Easy to use and the option to add pictures is a nice bonus. Only disappointment was that there is no warhammer fantasy version! Excellent for 40k users.

### 4/5 — Nice and Clean

*2014-03-14, version 1.2.6*

A nice way to organize an army for 40k. I have used the humble notepad for this in the past but "Army List" helps me keep track of points and units with much greater efficiency.

### 4/5 — Review for army list!

*2013-11-05, version 1.2.3*

This app is great so far. It's easy and a good way to keep track of one or more army's! I'd say go ahead and try this app and u won't be disappointed.
