Please fire the App Developer and hire someone else. This is the feature that led me purchasing my aroma machine from Aroma Retailer. I have no use for a machine that will not connect to my wifi ### 1/5 — Freezes Constantly *2024-06-18* I can’t even create an account because this app freezes consistently. Why offer an app that’s so terrible?? If it’s worth doing, shouldn’t it be worth doing well? ### 1/5 — App won’t work! *2024-05-18* Go through the process and every time I go to select my device it won’t do anything!!! Then it starts over and never lets me complete! Been doing this for 2 days. Huge disappointment. Paid more to have something I cannot use. Events don’t save, you turn one off, it turns another random event off instead. The oil left percentage estimate is so off it’s not even worth being there. It’ll go from 100 to 75 in a day. Very bad user interface, for the very premium price for their products this is not what I expected. I understand a new app is on the way as I’ve been told but that was a while ago and this is the current and only functional app to use and review. ### 1/5 — Schedule Doesn’t Save *2025-07-30* Just toggling off certain schedules it will just switch them right back on. Or it will just change the days of the week I have it scheduled. Completely nullifies the point of the app. If I were them I’d invest in paying a decent app dev to just get the base app functions working as expected - a good app is the foundation of your product. Completely nullifies the point of the app. If I were them I’d invest in paying a decent app dev to just get the base app functions working as expected - a good app is the foundation of your product. ### 1/5 — App keeps reverting schedule *2025-06-16* I purchased this scent diffuser for my small business and while I think the scents smell great and the actual diffuser works well (with a few design flaws that could be improved), the app is horrible. Multiple times, the app has “reset” the schedule that I have carefully created in the app, changing the days to different days of the week from what was originally selected. Occasionally it will also change the times and the diffusion percentage. Also, the estimate on amount of oil remaining is incredibly off (does not accurately track consumption all). If that was the only thing wrong I could still use the product, but the scheduling feature is why I am having the most difficulty deciding if I even want to keep this device. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, even got a new device thinking it may have been a hardware communication issue, but the problem remains. It is unfortunate that this seems to be an issue with most scent diffuser scheduling apps. If anyone knows of a better one please tell me. Extremely frustrating. The customer service has been great though, very responsive. There just does not seem to be any solution to the software problem. ### 1/5 — Uh? *2025-06-09, version 3.9* Timed runs make no sense… if they just repeat why is it even a function separate from events? The oil % is never accurate. I’m constantly having to open it up and look at how much is left in the bottle. I love the product itself just wish the smart app worked properly. ### 1/5 — Literally unusable *2024-11-25* I really wanted to like it but as it stands the app doesn’t do anything - it will indicate it is talking to the unit and dispensing scent but actually literally be doing nothing. Even putting it on the schedule in the app won’t help. The thing is on, but the communication with the app is nonexistent and the interface on the device is a bit too unintuitive. At this point the device just kind of sits there due to the problems with the app ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2024-11-10* I was really excited about the unit itself but the app functionality (or more accurately unusability) makes me want to return the unit. The app constantly changes the dates and does not link up with the unit. The percentage of oil reads 0 regardless of when I refill it and change it to 100% on the app. Good idea, terrible execution. ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works great *2023-01-29* The app works wonderfully and used Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth which is wonderful since I want to be able to control the devices where ever I am vs having to be next to the unit using Bluetooth since I have machines in multiple businesses. The app is reliable and easy to use. ### 3/5 — A bit buggy but okay *2024-08-05* As the title states, the app is a bit buggy when trying to put events in. The app would crash everytime. What I did was turn on and off the aroma retail box and it worked for one event. My oil level shows it is empty every 2-3 days which it is not. I have to continually reset that. It is annoying. The machine does run according to my settings which is great and I can change them at any time. The APP must show the current date and time of the unit. 2. The APP should also have a status indicator when program mode is active or in override status. My unit is installed in the attic and physically viewing the LCD screen requires a ladder. ### 2/5 — Works but flawed *2023-03-24* The app works fine except when you are trying to schedule Sunday. For some reason, the “S” for Sunday is pushed too far to the right margin of the screen and I can’t select nor deselect. So Sunday is included on all of my schedules whether I want to be or not! Should be an easy fix. Please modify! This is very annoying. BTW, I love the Aroma Retail system.
