Every time you open the app, it’s basically like setting up a new account. Absolute trash. I bought a magic diffuser and that thing works like a charm AND connects to Bluetooth and WiFi so I can control away from home (plus has great Disney inspired scents). Save your money and invest in the real deal, not this knockoff piece of junk. I’ll be returning the diffuser asap. ### 1/5 — Can’t register *2026-05-02, version 2.4* Just opened box and already have issues. Can’t register…. Downloaded the app to try to operate the machine. This app needs a serious upgrade. It does not save my schedule and when I update my schedule the diffuser doesn’t start working at that moment. I can’t even update the clock from the app. When the app does work…. It’s great. I really would like this app to more functional. I may return the diffuser because of this app. ### 1/5 — Does not save schedules *2026-02-02* The main thing you need to work on the app is the scheduling functionality but whenever I save a new schedule it never retains the days I selected and saved. Also I’m not sure if it’s possible to add a low oil alert through an app update but if so that would be a big benefit. The app can’t even do basic machine setup like setting the time. Still the app does not work on iPhone 17 plus the device makes a lot of noise. In the middle of the night with the noise. ### 1/5 — Reset Password *2025-12-11* The app will not let you reset your password because after putting in a temporary password sent to the registered email you are not able to hit enter to go to the next screen to complete the set up. Even makes it hard to use the aromadd device ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scheduling doesn’t work *2026-07-29* You have 5 options to create custom schedules but guess what, none of them work. You can’t create specific days for certain schedules to run. Example if I want the weekend to be a long time than during the week, I can’t specify that. When you change one schedule it changes all schedule days and scent power. ### 1/5 — Does Not save schedules *2026-07-21* You would think that since everyone is complaining about the same thing, they would fix it.... ### 1/5 — This is terrible *2026-07-06* This app stopped working and so did the diffuser. Refuses to connect, app is terrible. Product itself is great but this app makes you wanna return it. My advice: keep looking, there’s better options with less stress. I’ve had this thing for 6 months now the problems just started occurring so beware. ### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage *2026-07-02* The mobile app might be the reason this unit gets sent back. It will not save the schedules that I create. I cannot get it to save a schedule for weekdays, when we’re not at home as much, and weekends, when we’re spending more time at home. I create and save, only to have the unit to operate when it shouldn’t. Go back and look at the schedule and it’s totally different than the one I saved. ### 1/5 — Major overhaul *2026-06-29* The app needs a major overhaul. It is not very intuitive to use. They should take note of other competitors apps like Pura. I suggest they pay an app developer to bring this app from 2000 to 2026 standards. The Aromadd system is great, but the app brings the product from a 5 star to a 2. ### 1/5 — Set up an issue *2026-06-20* Just got the diffuser and trying to register for the app without any luck. It won’t let me past the registration page so I have no idea if it works or not. The scent output is excellent, and once I found the right concentration setting, it gave my home exactly the fragrance experience I was looking for. Unfortunately, the app is extremely frustrating, especially when creating schedules. I set specific start and end times for each day, select my concentration, press Save, and even receive a “Succeeded in modifying” confirmation. However, when I go back into the schedule, nothing actually saved. I tried multiple days and repeated the process several times with the same result. For a system designed around automated home scenting, reliable scheduling is a basic feature that needs to work. The diffuser has a lot of potential, but the app experience does not match the quality of the machine. Please fix the scheduling and syncing issues. Once the app works reliably, I would gladly update my rating because the diffuser itself is impressive. ### 2/5 — Diffuser *2026-01-17* App is simple but difficultly with Bluetooth and saving schedule.
