Default Factory Settings a. The Arome Homes diffuser preset functions include: i. Working Time: Here the user can set two different start and stop times for the machine for each specific day individually, or multiple days at a time. After any modifications are made, please remember to press save before moving forward. ii. Diffusion: This feature simply turns the diffuser fan on and off. If you are not using this as a stand along diffuser, you do not need to have the fat on. iii. Frequency: In this setting the user can set two different diffusion schedules. This is accomplished by choosing the working period (indicated by the letter W and measured in seconds) and the pausing period (indicated by the letter P and measured in seconds). Default settings upon initial startup, when the machine has been turned off, and when the machine has been reset to factory settings will be 300 seconds diffusing and 10 seconds of rest. This will determine how often the scent is diffused and how often there is a rest period. iv. Spray Level: This setting allows the user to determine the scent level of diffusion. The lowest level of fragrance diffused is A, with B being a higher concentration, and C being the highest concentration available. 2. After settings have been personalized and the machine is ready to run, please be sure your HVAC system’s fan is on the ON setting. This will keep the air and fragrance circulation throughout your home. If you choose to turn off the fan, the diffuser must be turned off also. 3. The Arome Homes diffuser can connect to Wifi in the following two ways: a. Diffuser hotspot connection b. Look for a different company I wish I would have read these reviews prior to purchasing ### 1/5 — Very, Poorly Designed *2021-05-24, version 1.0.4* This app is awful. You buy a great product and then the app to control it feels like it was designed by a four year old in Malaysia. The working period time for some reason is in military time which I’m not sure why on earth they would set it up that way, the “frequency” section is beyond confusing, etc. This app is simply the farthest thing from being simple, user friendly and easy to use. Not sure if they snooze the connection/servers on Sunday’s ! Need to fix this ASAP. STOP shutting down your APP server during Sunday. This is against User agreements. ### 1/5 — Pathetic *2021-04-07, version 1.0.4* Spend 300+ on this device and can’t connect it to the network! ### 1/5 — It’s all been said - Very Poor App *2021-03-28, version 1.0.4* My opinion only but; if you bought this product thinking that the App would make the deal, you could be very disappointed. I am. I am an EE and member of several software development organizations and I can’t get or even understand why this App is so unreliable. I’ve have tried everything that I can think of. Before you accept the standard response that you are out of range of your WiFi, or there is interference, see if you can ping the machine from your WiFi, I have tools that will automatically do that and the machine responds 100% of the time. My opinion; this is a fundamental code issue in the App. Needs to be fixed there not in your network. Factory restart of the machine each time is not acceptable to me. Still I wait. ### 1/5 — Good idea poorly executed *2021-02-07, version 1.0.4* We bought this at the Utah parade of homes about a year and a half ago or more. Product seems great but it never works unless you manually program it. It is offline most of the time. They’ve had a very long time to improve this and I’ve been waiting to write a review because I love it when it works but it’s just a big WHEN. They probably need to hire someone to design a better app that can connect and stay connected or do some kind of update on the units to improve. I have several smart devices in my house. None have had issues connecting to WiFi. This app can’t find home WiFi. 2.4 or 5. ### 1/5 — Locks while connecting...if you can even connect *2020-12-10, version 1.0.4* Bought this at Pinners Conference last month. When you can connect, it seems like it’s working. I’ve had it on for one day after spending several weeks trying to connect to WiFi. I have separate 2.4 and 5g lines, all my other smart items connect JUST fine (over 60 and counting). This one is crap. I am attempting to tweak times and am now on the connect screen with a spinning “Please Wait”...ten minutes later, attempted to restart process and I’m back to “not found” for the machine. Honestly, they shouldn’t promote this as a working app....because it’s not. I have a paperweight in my furnace room.
