### 3/5 — Pas stable

*2021-07-28*

### 1/5 — NOT a Step Sequencer - BEWARE

*2024-01-15*

SooOOoooo one way to view an arpeggio is as a pattern of notes, aka "a sequence". SooOOoooo you'd think if you had 8 steps and you put the first step as 1 (the root), then second as 3, the third step as 5 and the fourth step as 8..... then played or "fed" this App a note, say a C note. Well you would "THINK" you'd get or generate 1, 3, 5 and 8.

NO, not at all. It doesn't even make sense. WHY? Why tell or indicate to the app what notes, or relative notes to play for a sequence; and then you have to supply the app with more than one note?

**Developer response:** Yes, it’s an arpeggiator. Not a step sequencer, like you said. It needs the chord input from you, and it will arpeggiate it in the note order you designed. What is the problem?

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2023-11-19*

Hi dudes, your app is not working properly on my ipad…newest os and everything updatet. Arpeggios are not as they supposed to be.
Please fix it

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work in AUM.

*2022-12-17*

I don’t know what all these fixes were supposed to achieve because it doesn’t work anymore.

**Developer response:** Hello, can you send me an email about the problem you have? The last update fixes the loading of the older presets. Everything should be working fine.

### 1/5 — Not good with BeatMaker 3

*2022-06-06*

When adding as a MIDI effects to a Auv3 synth app like Digital 1, it cuts off the signal instead of playing out the full sound

**Developer response:** Hi, BM3 doesn’t work very well with the AUv3 MIDI plugins unfortunately.

### 1/5 — Same issue as DocnovaETSU

*2021-06-09*

I am having the same issue as another user previously reported: changing the note values have no effect. Sometimes the app plays nothing at all (in AUM). I have the latest iOS version.

### 1/5 — Arpbud not working, can’t input.

*2021-06-03*

Just purchased the bud bundle and Arpbud doesn’t work at all. This is so disappointing. You can’t change any value on the note tab, and all of the other tabs only changes a single random lane regardless of which one you drag on. That is the standalone, as a auv3, simply nothing works at all. Please fix this, is this app even a year old? So disappointing to drop $20 on an app and a big chunk of what I wanted the app for doesn’t work as advertised, or in this case at all. And it’s not an error on my part tried reinstalling, restarting, and did tutorial twice.

**Developer response:** That’s a very strange case. The app works fine actually. I’m not sure how’s that possible. Can you try the app with a different iPhone or iPad? It might be an iOS problem.

### 1/5 — Help

*2020-08-08*

Does not work in BeatMaker 3. Sounds like notes are stuck.

**Developer response:** It's probably a BeatMaker bug, you can try to use it in standalone mode or with another host app like AUM. It would be great if you can update your rating and review, thanks!

### 2/5 — not what I needed

*2023-10-01, version 2.6*

too bad, it is good but it doesn't work like a standard synth arpeggiator that only needs you set BMP for the arpeggio tempo and starts arpeggio everytime keys are pressed. It needs that you click start/play on you host and when you press keys arpeggio will start depending on where beat you are (so not always from start). Not very useful live unless you use click sync and I don't. It will be more useful if you could only set BMP (I use to set it live with tap funcion syncing with real drummer) and play arpeggio always from start when key is pressed.

### 2/5 — UI Bugs

*2021-09-15*

Working in Cubasis 3 but not in AUM

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2023-10-04*

This arpeggiator has potential. The probability, randomization options, and limitless steps are shining points. I’ve been using several instances inside of Loopy Pro, however they have started to crash constantly to the point of uselessness. Furthermore, as someone mentioned in a previous review, this arpeggiator has no latch which is a basic functionality of any good arpeggiator.

The developer responded to the previous review by saying to activate latch, turn the gate all the way up. I’m afraid that this does not perform a latch function, but rather holds the note through until a note off is received and is aptly named TIE inside the app.

For clarification, latch is a functionality which allows an arpeggiator to temporarily remember the midi note(s) you just played and apply them to the arpeggiator. The difference between latch and a hold function is the hold remembers every note you play until you turn it off like riding the sustain pedal. Latch forgets the previous note(s) each time you play new ones. This is a powerful function as you can, for example, play a chord into the arpeggiator, let go of the keyboard whilst that chord is still arpeggiating, reposition your hands and perhaps change some some your instruments parameters such as filter cutoff-modulation-etc, play a new chord, and hear the arpeggiator smoothly switch to the new tonality. ArpBud 2, unfortunately, does not do this.

### 5/5 — Great arpeggiator

*2025-08-09, version 2.7*

I can’t understand the previous review. The arpeggiator is great and super flexible. If you don’t understand how it works in AUM juat watch some tutorial. Super easy.

### 5/5 — Love it but…

*2025-08-05*

I prefer his “kebarp”

### 5/5 — This is definitely my most used arp app

*2025-08-02*

ArpBud 2 is my main arpeggiator. For basic arpeggiation and lets you choose the notes and scales (and octaves), I make great arps out my chord progressions. It’s does justice for trap music

### 5/5 — Simple, powerful and works best with AUM

*2020-11-10*

This is amazing! Very intuitive to use and works so so well with the other synths. Plus the addition of Ratchets along with other variables is great! Exactly what I was looking for!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Developer!

*2020-08-23*

These apps are great, and they are being upgraded almost daily. Can’t beat that. Not sure why one person gave them a 1 Star, but I’d being willing to bet it was error on their part not the app.

### 5/5 — Did I need yet another another arp?

*2020-08-09*

Yes, it turns out I did. This is impressive and really easy to use.

### 4/5 — Useful arpeggiator

*2021-12-26*

Edited review: Thanks to some good feedback from the dev, I have managed to get this to work with some AUv3 synths. However, it doesn’t work with every synth I have, and I have yet to try this with the modular gear.

Good communications.

**Developer response:** Did you make the MIDI routing right? You can find tutorials on youtube if you don’t know how to use the app. It would be great if you can update your review/rating. Thanks.

### 3/5 — No latch?

*2022-05-27*

I was starting love this arpeggiator, and then I went to look for the latch function. Is this really one of the only arpeggiators with no latch?

**Developer response:** Hi, you can use the latch function by setting the gate value 100% on a step.

### 3/5 — Arpbud

*2021-08-12*

Nice Arpeggiator! You need to know how to make the connection in AUM.

**Developer response:** Please do the tutorial or check out the youtube videos for learning how to use the arpeggiator. The app is working fine, you just don’t know how to use it. It would be great if you could update your review.
