## What is Arrangements Log?

Arrangements Log is a private, factual record of parenting time — the calls and visits, whether they happened, and what actually occurred.

WHO IT'S FOR

Separated and divorced parents keeping their own record, whether parenting time is set by a custody order, a parenting plan, or an informal agreement.

• Either side of it: the parent the child lives with, or the parent with parenting time
• Anyone whose attorney, mediator, custody evaluator or guardian ad litem has asked what has been happening
• Anyone who would rather remember it accurately than argue from memory

Built for one person working alone: nothing to share, nobody to invite, no account for the other parent. Only you can see it.

WHAT YOU RECORD

• Calls and visits, and whether each took place, was canceled, or went unanswered
• Scheduled times against actual times, so lateness is measured, not remembered
• Who a late start is attributed to, and the reason given — including "no explanation given", itself a fact
• Issues that arose during parenting time, and problems at handoffs
• Multi-day stays, with overnights counted properly
• Which child each entry was for — each wears their own color on the calendar
• Where a visit happened, from your own saved places
• Your own tags, so the patterns you care about are easy to find

THE SCHEDULE, STATED

Set out the regular schedule — which days, what times, weekly or alternating — and the app works from it:

• The calendar shows what is planned as well as what happened; the planned mark goes the moment you log the real thing
• Fallen behind? Catch up lists what was scheduled but never logged — nothing is filled in for you
• Optional reminders to log the evening's call or visit while it is fresh
• Optionally mirror the schedule into your own calendar, Google included, kept up to date

WHAT IT TELLS YOU

The Analysis tab turns the log into plain English, not just charts:

"5 of 6 timed calls and visits (83%) started late — on average 29 minutes, longest 45 minutes."

Alongside that: lateness over time, entries per month, issue and tag frequency, and a month-by-month summary, filtered by any period, type or tag.

TAKING IT OUT AS A DOCUMENT

Filter the log — a date range, calls only, late starts, anything tagged — and turn exactly that into a dated PDF for your attorney, a mediator, or the court.

• Two shapes: a short chronology of dates, times and what happened, or the full log with your notes and your child's own words. Every section is a switch.
• Prints on US Letter or A4, with the page count shown first.
• If you printed a filtered selection, the first page says so. Nothing is trimmed to fit.
• A closing note records how times were taken, what counts as late, and which entries were amended after writing.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No servers. No accounts. No analytics. No third-party code of any kind.
• Your entries live on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud, where only your Apple ID can read them.
• The app never touches your Contacts, your location or your camera.
• Rolling backups are kept inside the app; export JSON or CSV whenever you want.
• If the app crashes, Apple may send a crash report if you have that setting on. It contains nothing you have written, and you can switch it off.

TRY IT FREE FOR 14 DAYS

New users get 14 days free — no charge unless you continue. If you cancel, you can still export everything you have logged. Your record is never deleted.

A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS

This is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice. Whether anything you record is useful or admissible is a matter for your attorney and the court. The app is deliberately neutral in tone: a calm, accurate, contemporaneous record is far more useful than a critical one.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-16

Free for 14 days, with no card and no sign-in: the app now simply opens. When the fortnight is up it asks you to subscribe or buy it once; your record stays and can be exported at any time. Also: a link to rate the app under Settings ▸ About, and a one-time request for a rating after two weeks.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-15

After a fortnight of use, the app asks once whether you would rate it. Nothing else changes.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-14

Now works with Siri, in eleven languages, with a full review behind it.

SIRI
• "Log today's call in Arrangements" — the Quick log button by voice. Siri always checks with you before anything is written.
• "The visit was canceled by the other parent in Arrangements", "The call started late in Arrangements" — Siri asks only for what it needs and reads the entry back before saving.
• "Log what happened tomorrow in Arrangements" — record something you already know about a call or visit that is still to come: a cancellation and who canceled it, a refusal, or an agreed change. "Change tomorrow's arrangement" moves its time or place on the schedule. Advance entries are always marked as recorded before the day.
• "When is my next parenting time", "Anything to catch up on", "Add a note" — all in Arrangements. Siri also understands "the log" and "Contact Log". See Settings ▸ Siri for every phrase.
• Every Siri action needs your iPhone unlocked. With the app lock on, Siri can log for you but never speaks a child's name and will not read your schedule aloud.

ELEVEN LANGUAGES
• American and Australian English, German, French, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch and Japanese, as well as British English. The app follows your iPhone's language; plain English follows your Region. Choose for yourself in Settings ▸ Language.
• Times and dates follow your region and your 12- or 24-hour setting, in the app and in the report.
• Reports can be produced in any of the eleven languages, whatever language you use day to day.
• Translations are machine-generated: if a word reads wrong, tell us from Settings ▸ Send feedback.

THE RECORD
• An entry can name everyone the call or visit was with. Who was there and who canceled or was late are recorded separately, so the record names one person, never a group.
• Tap an entry to read it as a document: when it was first written, how it reached the log, every amendment with the old and new values, and the entry exactly as first written.
• Filter the Log by child, by period and by how entries reached it; search by name; select several entries to delete at once.
• A report for one child. Choose its language. Print or share it straight from the preview. Every report states how many entries the whole log holds and what any filter left out.

THE SCHEDULE
• A stay can end at any time on its last day, and a call or visit can run past midnight without being a stay.
• A scheduled call or visit can name two people. Skip a single date from Catch-up. Quick log asks before recording a call or visit that has not finished yet.

ANALYSIS
• Figures for one child at a time. Periods are whole calendar months, months with no entries are shown, and an overnight stay counts in the month each night falls — the same figure on Home, in Analysis and in the report.

YOUR DATA
• Any import can be removed again as a unit, including what it added to your children, schedule, tags and places. Anything you have edited since is kept, and you are told what was kept.
• Reports state exactly how many entries have been deleted, however many.
• Larger text sizes, VoiceOver labels and the iPad layout have all been gone over.

Nothing about how the app treats your data has changed: no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and your log stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-04

Faster, safer, more careful with what comes in.

• The month view, Analysis periods and reports filter the log about 3.5× faster; restoring a backup rebuilds entries about 2.6× faster.
• Importing a file now shows you what it holds before anything is added, keeps a copy of your log from just before the import for 30 days, and marks imported entries so the report says which entries the app can and cannot vouch for.
• Turning the app lock off, or lengthening the time before it locks, now asks you to unlock first.
• The log file itself is now protected to the same level as your backups while your iPhone is locked.
• Spreadsheet exports can no longer be turned into formulas by text in a note.
• Fixes: a corrupt backup with a stray value in a list no longer crashes the restore; removing a schedule slot no longer risks a crash as the sheet closes; importing a file with schedule slots now refreshes reminders straight away; exports list same-day entries in a fixed order.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

No changes to the app itself in this update. We have refreshed the App Store listing so it shows what Arrangements Log does: the calendar of calls and visits, the plain-English analysis, the solicitor-ready PDF report, the schedule, and records for more than one child. Your log, settings and subscription are untouched.
