Practice reading EKGs in lead II Basic EKG interpretation is more accurately described as an intermediate level skill that takes time, practice and refreshing. Whether you are a doctor, nurse, EMT or tech your ability to read and pickup on basic EKG changes in real time is essential. Practice with an app that actually looks like what you see at work. Use the app’s ‘Study Mode’ to choose one or multiple rhythms to view and compare. A brief description of each rhythm is provided, you can also pause and restart rhythms. Delete and add specific rhythms as desired. Rates, amplitudes and widths of the rhythms are dynamically set which provides for a more realistic simulation and variation within each type of rhythm. Use the app’s ‘Game Mode’ to challenge yourself to identify rhythms presented randomly in lead II. If desired, you can also custom specify which rhythms to include in the game. Access to Study Mode and Game Mode requires a subscription via in-app purchase. More of those rhythms would greatly improve this app hopefully the developers read this. Because it’s missing some other common rhythms it only get a 3/5. ### 2/5 — Random dude *2026-02-15, version 3.5* Rythms were a little unrealistic to how the appear in an ecg and there werent several of the harder/important rythms Would have been nice if there was an option to read it as a 12 lead instead of a single rythm line ### 1/5 — Stopped Working *2025-11-02, version 3.5* IOS 26 update and app no longer works. Game makes the whole process easy, just read the ones you get wrong(not every time tho). However I downloaded to try it before signing up and paying. Unable to comment on anything else. 4, 12lead? Posterior?, blocks? Rhythms,Variety? Who knows. I’m deleting it now. Loved the game mode! I could pick it up and quiz myself anytime. ### 1/5 — Not free *2025-03-23, version 3.2* Not free ### 1/5 — Why? *2024-06-11, version 2.0.1* I like the appearance change but the horizontal scrolling to select the rhythm is clunky and slow and makes it easy to press while scrolling. At least give me an option to have a list view like before or something. I think adding variations to some of these rhythms would help out a lot because only 1 visual example for each rhythm is easy to identify after like 5 cycles. Also there should be more rhythms in general. I’ve had this app for almost a year and not having simple ones like accelerated/ tachycardic idioventricular or WAP or MAT seems like easy additions.
