ARRO is a taxi app created to simplify everyday transport through innovative, easy-to-use tools for hailing and paying for taxi rides. With the tap of a button, ARRO connects you to the nearest available drivers in every location, to get you where you’re going, faster! Download the app today and start using it for all of your travel needs! Available in: New York, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, London, and more! HOW TO HAIL WITH ARRO: At the bottom of the home screen, tap the box labeled "I NEED A TAXI". Next Tap "Where to go?" You will see a dropoff screen where you can enter Final Destination. You'll receive a fare estimate, route preview, and ETA of the nearest available driver. When you're ready to hail, tap "Order a Taxi" at the bottom of the screen to be matched with a driver. When the ride is over, the fare is paid automatically with the card on file or another payment method of your choosing. If you are not logged in or do not have an account we will still provide a free fare estimate for you to compare with other ride services as our courtesy. HOW TO PAY WITH ARRO: If you are already in a taxi that you didn’t hail with our app, you can still use ARRO for faster payment! From the home screen, tap “I'M ALREADY IN A TAXI”, then enter the 7-digit check-in code displayed at the top of the taxi’s screen to pair the taximeter with your ARRO account. It’s worked about 1 out of 6 cab rides for me. Astonishing that it’s still in circulation. If you drive a cab, avoid it. There are other options that actually work reliably. ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work *2026-06-04, version 5.13.94* When I try to sign in it says “phone number already in use”. It must think I’m trying to make a new account. But I’m not, and I can’t get it to understand I’m trying to sign in to an existing account. ### 1/5 — Avoid Arro in NYC *2026-05-04, version 5.13.92* Terrible customer service. Mobile app has a lot of glitches. Avoid using it. ### 1/5 — Spies on you and sells your data *2026-04-19, version 5.13.92* Requires your location even when you’re in a taxi. Curb doesn’t, so the only explanation for Arro needing it is that it sells your location data to advertisers and the government. Curb works just fine without it. My only conclusion is this app spies on its users and sells their location data. I use the app when Curb doesn’t work, but I always disable location data as soon as paired. Other users should too.
