### 1/5 — Get out of the business

*2025-12-29, version 5.13.89*

Your app cannot manage to send simple text messages. Please save everyone the headache and get out of the business.

### 2/5 — Crashes constantly

*2025-12-01, version 5.13.87*

The app crashes about 90% of the time when launched (iPhone running iOS 26.1. Other than that, it works well.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2025-11-26, version 5.13.87*

Totally ineffectual / map doesn’t load / paying while riding in a taxi is a gamble and like every casino on EARTH the HOUSE ALWAYS WINS

### 1/5 — Unable to Use

*2025-11-20, version 5.13.87*

I just keep getting an error “Unable to Create Account”. This is not an intuitive interface. The buttons for Next and Done use a grayscale that would normally indicate that the buttons are not available to Tap.

### 3/5 — Normally good- but keeps crashing

*2025-11-05, version 5.13.86*

App keeps crashing- i can’t access my receipt! I’ve done the update and when i go to “my ride” it immediately shuts down!

### 1/5 — Very bad? Awful? Worst app ever?

*2025-07-09, version 5.13.81*

Can’t log in - and password reset does not work. Or anything else about this app. Infuriating

### 1/5 — Does not work.

*2025-06-04, version 5.13.81*

Should be removed from here

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2025-05-31, version 5.13.81*

Unusable. Can’t sign-in. Don’t receive emails to initiate account set up. Makes you only want to take Curb taxis.

### 1/5 — Can’t recover my account and can’t register for a new one

*2025-05-25, version 5.13.81*

Can’t register for a new account cause my number is already used. I can’t recover my existing account because your system won’t send me a verification code to my email. So im stuck!

0 ways to contact you

### 1/5 — Useless. Can’t register and can’t even send support ticket

*2025-04-30, version 5.13.81*

I have tried with 2 emails and 2 cellphones. I never get the confirmations to register. I tried the support button here but it always errors out and says it cannot send. I wonder if this app even really exists.

### 1/5 — Can’t sign up

*2025-03-29, version 5.13.81*

Rating should be less than zero since it doesn’t send the required text to complete registration.

### 1/5 — Why won’t it let me add or change a payment method

*2025-03-24, version 5.13.81*

Bad user experience

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2025-03-18, version 5.13.81*

It gets the job done. It’s consistently $10 cheaper than uber in NYC which is incredible. But I hate how no matter how far away the ride is to pick you up, it just always says it’s 2 minutes away. Screw you! This is NYC! Lots of minor things could be improved but it doesn’t seem to have active refinement. But again, 3 stars because it’s an alt to Uber and gets the job done.

### 1/5 — Fix your app

*2025-02-15, version 5.13.81*

Takes a long time to launch (when it does). Need to reinstall constantly to get it to load. Then errors when pairing. Horrible app invest in some actual programmers

### 3/5 — Numbers are too small

*2025-02-14, version 5.13.81*

This app is fine but the numbers to link your cab to the app are too small on the taxi screen and particularly hard to see on a bumpy ride. The numbers on the Curb app are bigger

### 1/5 — Impossible to Login

*2025-02-13, version 5.13.81*

If you had an account but no longer control your old email, you will never be able to login again. You also can’t create a new account because it is associated with your phone number. What a terrible experience and waste of time. Also Facebook login doesn’t work nor does Facebook registration. Piss-poor

### 1/5 — website is completely broken

*2025-02-10, version 5.13.81*

can’t log in absolutely garbage, shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Quite bad

*2026-07-16, version 5.13.94*

This app is so unbelievably bad it feels intentional, like a joke or a scam. It’s worked about 1 out of 6 cab rides for me. Astonishing that it’s still in circulation. If you drive a cab, avoid it. There are other options that actually work reliably.

### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work

*2026-06-04, version 5.13.94*

When I try to sign in it says “phone number already in use”. It must think I’m trying to make a new account.
But I’m not, and I can’t get it to understand I’m trying to sign in to an existing account.

### 1/5 — Avoid Arro in NYC

*2026-05-04, version 5.13.92*

Terrible customer service. Mobile app has a lot of glitches. Avoid using it.

### 1/5 — Spies on you and sells your data

*2026-04-19, version 5.13.92*

Requires your location even when you’re in a taxi. Curb doesn’t, so the only explanation for Arro needing it is that it sells your location data to advertisers and the government. Super sketchy and should be illegal if it’s not already.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t let you sign in

*2026-03-03, version 5.13.90*

It won’t text you a code to your phone number, so you can’t sign in. Useless.

### 1/5 — Not friendly for vision impaired

*2026-02-13, version 5.13.89*

Impossible to use because you have to see a small number on screen in a shaking moving vehicle. Please introduce linking via QR code or something better for low-vision individuals.

### 1/5 — Useless, deleted

*2026-02-08, version 5.13.89*

Fix the app, useless, can’t create a profile, I’m assuming because I have an existing profile on the phone but there’s no option to reactivate that profile. Curb is the model you guys need to learn from, hire some people who can code.

### 1/5 — Terrible: impossible to log in

*2026-02-05, version 5.13.89*

I’ve tried many times in the back of a cab, but this system won’t respond, says it’s sending me a text to log in but doesn’t. Even cab drivers say it’s useless. Giving up.

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2026-02-05, version 5.13.89*

Can no longer log in with my email and password. Removed the option. Ridiculous. I don’t want to give you my phone number so you can spam me either. Bye.

### 1/5 — Creepy Data Seller

*2026-01-29, version 5.13.89*

You don’t need my location for me to pair and pay while in a taxi. Curb works just fine without it. My only conclusion is this app spies on its users and sells their location data. I use the app when Curb doesn’t work, but I always disable location data as soon as paired. Other users should too.

Don’t trust this developer.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-01-25, version 5.13.89*

Can be updated a bit more competitively but overall good app

### 5/5 — Best way to get around in NYC!

*2025-11-15, version 5.13.87*

This app is super convenient and works well when traveling in the city. I love how you can use it to call a cab or after you’ve hailed a cab down on the street. It’s straight forward and easy to use. Would reccomend!

### 5/5 — Best way to get around in NYC!

*2025-05-19*

### 5/5 — One of the BEST Taxi rides I’ve had since the 1980s

*2024-08-17, version 5.13.81*

Pairing with ARRO was a breeze! I love the fact that it allows me to determine a tip, either by percentage or by manually typing it in (other apps lint you pretty severely). Further, my driver was FANTASTIC - not only helpful, but also a highly skilled driver.

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2023-05-21, version 5.13.67*

This yellow taxi payment method always works. It pairs no problem and is the only taxi payment app that seems to work for an out of country (USA) resident.

### 5/5 — Best experience in nyc

*2022-01-23, version 5.13.57*

Can come within 5 minutes. Drivers super friendly

### 5/5 — Arro is my go-to!

*2020-10-11*

Arro is my go-to for getting a ride anywhere. They’re always reliable with pick ups and I can use the app to e-pay any cab I get into. I’ve never had a bad experience with cabs and it just feels even more safe than other ride sharing apps, especially during a pandemic. I choose reliable and friendly any day!

### 5/5 — I'm a believer!

*2020-03-08*

I'm genuinely impressed with how easy to use this app is. I had stopped taking taxis because I never have cash on me and hate the idea of using my card because it takes so long to enter everything. But with arro, I don't have to do that anymore. I can pay for everything on my phone and it has the receipts right in the app! I haven't used the hailing feature yet because there are always taxis on my block, but I'm gonna try that as well. Love this so much.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and fair prices

*2020-03-01*

Was calling a car on an app on a Saturday night and saw my $30 ride home quickly triple to $100 due to surge pricing. Remembered I had Arro and hailed a cab in less than one minute. My phone died en route but payment was already set up, so no problem. Paid $30 including a 20% tip. Easy to use, no problems beyond general traffic, transparent pricing. Will be using more.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-08-13, version 5.9.18*

Amazing service .
