## What is Arsenal Tracker Gun Inventory?

Your safe, documented. Every firearm, serial number, receipt photo and tax stamp — organized, private, and ready the day you actually need it: an insurance claim, an estate, a stop at the range.

NFA DONE PROPERLY
Form 1 and Form 4, submitted and approved dates, control numbers, individual versus trust ownership with the trust name, and suppressors mapped to their host firearm. Not a checkbox labeled "NFA" — the whole paperwork trail, documented the way a stamp actually exists.

CARRY LICENSES & TRAINING
Track CCW licenses with issue and expiry dates, issuing authority, restrictions, and photos of the card itself. Keep your training certificates in the same place, so renewals never sneak up on you.

YOUR ARSENAL
Every firearm with make, model, caliber, serial number, purchase price and date, safe location, notes and photos. Organize by type — handguns, rifles, shotguns, SBRs and more.

AMMO INVENTORY
Know exactly what you have. Track quantity by caliber, brand, grain and bullet type. Scan UPC barcodes to add boxes fast. Set low-stock alerts so you never show up to the range short, and watch counts fall automatically as you log what you shoot.

RANGE LOG & MAINTENANCE
Log every trip with date, location, firearms used and rounds fired. Record cleanings, repairs and inspections tied to a specific firearm, and track rounds fired between cleanings to stay on schedule.

HANDLOADING
The optional Reloading Module tracks brass, bullets, powder and primers, versioned recipes, and batches with lot numbers — decrementing components as you load and working out your true cost per round.

DOCUMENTATION THAT SURVIVES A CLAIM
Export an insurance PDF of your collection, a CSV of your firearms, or a complete JSON backup that includes your photos and receipt images. Your records are yours, in formats you can hand to anyone.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Your data stays on your device. No account required for core features. No ads, no tracking, no data selling.

### 1/5 — Not good for me

*2026-05-28*

Ammo tracking is a fail. Will only group them all together by caliber. If you enter different loads you can’t see them it only gives total round count for everything of that caliber. Was supposed to scan bar codes but that doesn’t work. Zero help or support.
Waste of money for me. I’ve asked for a refund. There are much better options available.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.5 — 2026-08-16

Clearer names for locking and signing out.

"Logout" only locked the app — your PIN let you straight back in, which made it look like the button did nothing. It is called Lock App now.

Signing out is a separate control, and it no longer warns that it deletes your records. It never did: your firearms, ammunition, range visits and photos stay on the device.

The lock screen's reset used to run on a single tap. It now asks first, and says plainly that nothing is deleted.

### 1.2.4 — 2026-08-15

Ammunition round counts now keep a history.

Adding or using rounds, and logging a range visit, each record an entry rather than overwriting a single number. Your counts stay correct even when changes come from more than one place, and the groundwork is in for syncing across devices.

Also: fixed low-contrast text on the Statistics charts and the ammunition list.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-14

Three fixes and a new way to pay for Pro.

Range visits: the Visits list was missing its add button, so there was no way to record a session. Tap + on Visits to log one — location, date, firearms used and rounds fired, with ammo deducted from your inventory automatically. Tap any visit to see its details.

Barcode scanning and photo capture no longer crash the app. A missing camera permission description meant the app closed the moment the camera opened.

The Statistics tab no longer crashes if you own an SBR, SBS or SMG. Those types were missing from the firearms chart, which brought the whole tab down.

Pro now has a monthly plan at $2.99 a month, if you would rather not pay for a year up front. The yearly and lifetime options are unchanged.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-13

Opening Arsenal Tracker for the first time now walks you through what it tracks — your arsenal, your ammunition, range and maintenance logs, and your NFA and CCW paperwork — instead of dropping you on an empty screen.

Reinstalling no longer asks for your old PIN. If you deleted the app and installed it again, it used to ask for a PIN that guarded data the reinstall had already removed. It now starts fresh.

Every firearm shows its silhouette in your Arsenal list. The type icons referenced symbols iOS does not provide, so they rendered as empty boxes. Suppressors and other NFA items now show their own artwork and type on the detail screen too.

Better on iPad, where lists and statistics no longer stretch the full width of the display.

Also carried over from 1.2.0: your JSON backup includes every photo and the complete NFA record, exports report failures instead of failing quietly, and purchases register correctly with our licensing server.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-12

Your backup is now a real backup.

Exporting your data now includes every photo — firearms, receipts, license scans and training certificates — along with the complete NFA record for each firearm: form type, submitted and approved dates, control number, trust details, and the host firearm for suppressors. Importing restores all of it. Previously these were left out of the export file.

Also in this release:
• Exports now tell you if something goes wrong instead of failing quietly
• CSV exports no longer break when a make, model or serial number contains a quotation mark
• Purchases now register correctly with our licensing server
• If the app's database ever cannot be opened, you now get a recovery screen with your data left intact, instead of the app closing on launch
