## What is Art Almanac?

Art Almanac is a monthly briefing on national art news, reviews and exhibitions. Since 1974, Art Almanac has proudly published the most comprehensive gallery exhibition listings in the country.
The magazine features extended exhibition reviews and a national roundup of current shows as well as a dynamic and comprehensive online offering.

*Back issues and future issues are available for purchase within the App.

Future issues are also available through the following auto-renewing subscription(s):

-6 months at $24.99 AUD
-1 Year $39.99AUD
-1 Month $4.49AUD
-1 issue $4.49AUD

The subscription will include the current issue if you do not already own it, and subsequently published future issues. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. This subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price.
You may turn off auto-renewing subscriptions by going to your user’s Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during your active subscription period. 
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to the publication, where applicable

Art Almanac details Australia's Gallery Exhibitions and Art Services on its comprehensive Listing pages.

The magazine also features extended Exhibition Reviews, the latest Art News and Events, prizes and awards, as well as a selection of Exhibitions in Brief.

Unfortunately this e-edition does not take full advantage of the digital format and is not searchable (though the website is, and provides access to most of the materials, though delayed in issue compared to the mag.) It does contain links to listing websites and emails however.

I have downloaded for comparison both the Zinio and Newsstand versions. They are are identical; neither is searchable, nor does either permit textcopy/pasting or text selection. However the Newsstand version is perceivably sharper (in the same device) in rendering both text and images.
