Art of Tea has the most enjoyable, tastiest tea I’ve ever had. There are many different varieties that are very well described on the app. Ordering is easy; choosing is hard because the descriptions are all so enticing. ### 5/5 — Making my daily tea with ease *2021-09-29* My roommate introduced me to the Art of Tea, in 2016 and I’ve been hocked ever since. I love how they now offer this app, which has made my shopping experience so easy. The same clean and carefully curated items that you find online are just a click away. All of the info you need to find the tea you’re looking for is here, and it’s very easy to purchase. Love the inclusion of ApplePay. I can browse new products, look at my past orders aaand read tea recipes. I love that it tells you how long to steep the tea and in what quantity - very informative. Merchandise was only ten items receive instead of 12. My page cap with switching between the regular website and the app. ### 2/5 — The tea is excellent. Customer service not so much. *2024-04-07, version 5.7* I absolutely love this tea. Earl Gray Crème is my favorite. On the website they offer a free item sometimes if you spend over 100.00. It’s advertised but won’t let me add it to the order. Also, I have monthly subscription and order points for money off. I tried to order tea for my daughter in ID. $127.00 worth. I could not get the free item or use the money savings. There’s no number to call. No chat button. No way to get assistance. ### 2/5 — Empty Promises *2020-08-25, version 1.1* If you advertise a discount from downloading and using the app, make sure that happens. Downloaded, allowed notifications, and didn’t get a coupon code. ### 3/5 — Great tea, app could improve *2021-09-30* I love the tea but have not always been happy with the app. I often end up looking at info on the website. Some things that could improve: 1. Ability to load gift cards in your account and to automatically apply discount codes received in emails, 2. Product description an easier to find heading or made into a more obvious button. Too small type and difficult to see. 3. Website seems to give fuller descriptions and customer reviews. 4. The main shopping menu could be better categorized with headings of types of tea, not grouping all under “collections.” ### 3/5 — Ehh... *2020-07-26, version 1.1* I downloaded the App after the website said 20% off coupon if you sign up for notifications, which I did. Don’t see the coupon anywhere. I love Art of Tea but this feels like an empty promise. Also the app doesn’t provide the ingredients for the teas, which is disappointing. It’s my favorite place to buy tea. I was excited for the app for quick and easy ordering. I was disappointed that I cannot find a tea ingredient list, only a description. I like to know exactly what is in each tea not just what it’s like. Also I like to read reviews of others who have ordered to help my decisions on trying new teas. Add these things and it will go to 5 Stars for me. ### 4/5 — Nearly perfect app *2021-09-18* I love Art of Tea and have been buying their products for a few years! The app is pretty user friendly and straight forward but it is missing a few key features their website has that I use which made me take off a star: search by flavor note (i,e floral, malty, grassy, etc), the listing of these notes in the description of each individual tea, and the customer reviews for each tea on the same page as the tea. Most people aren’t as picky as I am about seeing these notes so it’s not a huge deal! ### 4/5 — Great tea buddy! *2021-09-15, version 2* I do like this app for many reasons: tea steeping recommendation by specific tea, the tea academy is great, and aesthetics are pleasant. I would also like it if music were added - like tea meditation sounds. I love the recommended steep times and the descriptions of the different types of tea. These things are very informative and helpful. For instance, how many times are you set to brew your tea and you’re just not quite certain how long you need to brew it? Well, on this app, there is a really nice handy chart to tell you just this! How much tea to use? Same chart. Yay! Yes. The Art of Tea does sell tea. That’s how they make their living. But in the meantime, you can make your order and while you wait for it, sit down and have a total education on tea at your fingertips! How to choose. When to buy it best. What is seasonal. Everything you could possibly want to know is right here.
