### 5/5 — This is a puzzle app you should try

*2017-09-02, version 1.3.9*

Well designed, bug free app that has works of art instead of cheesy subject matter. They inspire me to learn more about the artists. In-app purchases are reasonably priced for the amount of entertainment value.

### 5/5 — Keeps getting better and more beautiful

*2016-12-13, version 1.3.6*

This was a fun app to start with and it's nice to see that it's continually being improved! You can tell the creators care about ensuring the beautiful interface is matched with great game play. My wife and I enjoy solving these together but it's also fun to play alone. You can customize the puzzle pieces to set the difficulty level to your mood. All the beauty of a museum right in your hands!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2016-09-22, version 1.3.5*

This is a great puzzle because it allows you to go from easy to extremely challenging. Lots of fun!

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2016-09-20, version 1.3.5*

Nice improvements!

### 5/5 — Beautiful and fun!

*2014-09-25, version 1.2*

This game is fun to play and now I can’t put it down! So beautiful and easy to use.

And it keeps getting better and better with each update, Thanks!

### 5/5 — Excellent puzzle app

*2014-08-02, version 1.1.1*

Great twist on puzzles. Being able to choose the shapes and sizes means you can change up and enjoy each more than once.

### 5/5 — Art Scrambles

*2014-07-24, version 1.1.1*

Great app, will keep you up for hours. The best part is on a small screen there are no puzzle pieces to keep moving around. Playing the same puzzle with different size pieces gives you a whole new experience. Only wish you can save a puzzle in progress before quitting app.

### 5/5 — Love .... but

*2014-07-23, version 1.1.1*

Love this game so much, but it really needs a conclusion. I'd love to have something mark the puzzles as having being completed.

### 5/5 — Art scramble

*2014-05-26, version 1.1.1*

I like the format of this game. I am able to select the level of difficulty for each picture. Since I have completed all the puzzles, some more than once, I wish there were more selections.

### 5/5 — Fun and entertaining

*2014-05-09, version 1.1*

This app is right up my alley. Customer service sent back a reply so fast it made my head spin (no problem with app, was a user issue). Great variety of art puzzles available for purchase if you loved the sampler.

### 5/5 — Fun and challenging

*2014-05-06, version 1.0*

The works of art are beautiful and there are plenty of puzzle packs to choose from. You choose a picture and then decide on the size and shape of the pieces. These choices allow you control how easy or hard the puzzle will be to complete. Unlike a traditional jigsaw puzzle, only a portion of the picture is scrambled. You swap pieces to return them to their proper spots and put the picture back together. Try it...it's really fun.

### 1/5 — Purchased packs disappeared

*2021-05-24, version 1.3.10*

I bought 5 packs of art, but after 2 days they disappeared. Hitting "restore purchases" does nothing. It's a shame because I liked the game.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2015-09-10, version 1.2.1*

Unfortunately, while an enjoyable puzzle, there are lots of puzzles with bugs where pieces will never go into place so never able to complete all puzzles; a real bummer after all the work

### 2/5 — Great App

*2014-03-10, version 1.0*

What a great app. Fed up with the usual boring puzzles? Try this real mind teaser for a change of direction.

### 3/5 — Nice, but...

*2020-05-19, version 1.3.10*

I love this but why are the pieces so hard to move? I’m holding the piece down and waiting the screen to change before I try to move it, but it’s still difficult. Too frustrating after several moves.

### 3/5 — Nice, but...

*2019-05-25, version 1.3.10*

It's a nice puzzle app, but $1.99 is kind of high for only 11 puzzles.

### 3/5 — Fun vs Money Funnel

*2017-11-09, version 1.3.10*

I loved this game, but found that the various sets are too pricey relative to the number of boards offered per set.

### 3/5 — Some of the puzzles are great...

*2014-05-15, version 1.1.1*

I love the concept of this app, and have enjoyed several of the puzzles. However, many of the reproductions are poor, with muddy colors and a grainy appearance, which makes the puzzles much more challenging to do, while being less interesting to put together. This is especially true of the Rembrandts.

As an art lover, I think it would be wonderful if there were more puzzles available and if there was more information about each work (for example, the medium and what museum owns the piece).

### 4/5 — Love this puzzle but my downloaded pictures didn’t transfer to my new iPad. Help

*2026-02-21*

I still really like the app.

**Developer response:** Congratulations on your new iPad. These instructions should get your purchases puzzles restored:

1. Delete the old copy of Art Scrambles.
2. Download a fresh copy of Art Scrambles from the App Store at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id776050667.
3. Launch the just-downloaded app.
4. Open Settings within the app (upper-right corner in the in-app store)
5. Make sure you're online.
6. Choose Restore Settings. (Restoring can take a while depending on how many purchases you've made, and the speed of your Internet connection.)

That should do it. I don't know why these problems sometimes happen, but that never fails.

It is good to hear you enjoy the app, thank you.

### 4/5 — Fun app!

*2024-01-12, version 1.3.10*

Love the design of this app. Great selection of some great art.
A couple suggestions: would be nice to get some info on the piece of art/artist upon completion of the puzzle. Would be a fun incentive.
Also, would be amazing if we could make use our own photos for these. It would make the fun unlimited!
Keep up the good work!

### 4/5 — Please give me more

*2016-03-06*

Love this app. Please make more but maybe use landscapes or architecture photographs. Thank you so much.

### 5/5 — Love this puzzle but my downloaded pictures didn’t transfer to my new iPad. Help

*2026-02-27, version 1.3.10*

I still really like the app. The developer sent me a fix that worked perfectly. Great app and great support.

### 5/5 — Additional Puzzle purchases

*2023-10-01, version 1.3.10*

I don’t see my purchased puzzles

Just noticed your advice to another reviewer and it worked. Delete the app, download app, restore purchases. Love the app btw

### 5/5 — Additional Puzzle purchases

I don’t see my purchased puzzles

### 5/5 — Love this app!!

*2021-02-04, version 1.3.10*

Totally addictive. By changing the size and shape of the puzzle pieces, each puzzle I play can be as relaxing or challenging as I’m in the mood for. I hadn’t opened the app for a bit, so had to delete and reinstall in order to restore all my previous purchases. But to my surprise and delight there were a ton of new puzzle sets available. Thank you Dev!!

### 5/5 — Total Addiction for Relaxation and Joy!

*2020-02-22, version 1.3.10*

What a fun app! I am not an artist, but find great joy in absorbing the colors and textures in these right brained masterpieces. I can almost feel my own brain shifting as I slide the puzzle pieces in place and pop goes the shape-shifting—wow! I feel like the artist! The little blip sounds are mesmerizing too, although I would prefer relaxing music like another app I had. The varied artists you can purchase are well worth the price. I feel I am learning to appreciate all the many styles and brush strokes of these amazing people, and feel a delightful sense of calmness and completion once all the pieces are in place. Enjoy! I do hope more artists will be available so I don’t run out!!

Oh, and the choice of piece size and shape, and the slide technique are the best out there for this kind of app. You can stop and go back to where you left off, you can check to see the final painting at any time, you can get help, and other features makes it easy and fun.

### 5/5 — Best puzzles!!!!!

*2019-04-09, version 1.3.10*

This is a fantastic way to spend some free time! I REALLY love the different sizes and shapes! The round shape is my favorite and something I have not seen before. The artwork is wonderful. A great way to play a game and add art culture to your life. It has renewed my interest and appreciation for great art while having a really good time!

### 5/5 — Love it, but ...

*2018-05-19, version 1.3.10*

I love this game and have bought several sets, but I got a new iPad and couldn’t restore purchases, emailed for support and was working within 10 minutes. Great support

### 5/5 — Beautiful!

*2018-01-24, version 1.3.10*

Really love this developer’s stuff! This one is a different kind of puzzle app. Sure, others let you pick sizes, but this one goes beyond. Also, other puzzle apps never have enough room for all of the pieces (obviously), but pieces are played differently so it isn’t a problem. Can’t remember what else I was going to say. Anyway, I recommend it.

Better on an iPad app or at least bigger than my 6s non-plus screen.

### 5/5 — Love Art Scrambles with one reservation

*2017-12-29, version 1.3.10*

I have been a long time user (player) of this app using it about once a day. I love being able to choose my puzzle size pieces and I especially love the Rennaisance and Masterpiece puzzles. My concern is that I have downloaded most of the in-app purchases and the app is using my precious storage (I am on an older ipad). I just uninstalled (864 MB) and reinstalled (584 MB).

What I would like is a way to push puzzles into the cloud that I am not fond of solving....currently, I have to upload all my purchased puzzles or none.

### 5/5 — what a gorgeous app!

*2017-10-29, version 1.3.10*

This is my new favorite app! I did the first puzzle with large size pieces to get the feel of it, but now I'm doing an intricate puzzle from one of the packs (Mucha) with small round pieces. It's more difficult, but in the most pleasant way. Watching the colors and lines fall into place is like a peaceful meditation.

Your progress is automatically saved in any puzzles you start. Just remember when you go back that you have to tap on the progress circle in the center (and not the piece size selector thing). (I learned the hard way lol !)

The artwork in the sampler and the extra couple of pacs I bought is so interesting, and I'm finding out about artists that I was unfamiliar with. Would love to see Turner and Andrew Wyeth added but copyright might prevent that? Anyway, the works shown are fabulous. I look forward to using this app for a long time to come. A very special app 🎨 🌌Thank you!
