## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No updated

*2020-05-18, version 1.7*

I enjoyed this app. But now, May 2020, the text for the guesses will not come up and it is frozen. I wonder if the developers have abandoned the game. If so, I hope it will be removed from the App Store.

### 1/5 — Worked yesterday

*2019-06-04, version 1.7*

The guess button won’t come up. Also wish their was bio of some sort

### 1/5 — Fail

*2014-09-01*

The ads block the buttons. Wasn't thought through.

### 1/5 — Problem with ads

*2014-02-18, version 1.2.1*

There is an ad on the "guess" button, I can't play.

### 2/5 — Too many ads

*2024-02-19, version 1.7*

It was good, now too many ads. Plan to uninstall if not still so many ads.

### 2/5 — Jams constantly

*2014-08-24, version 1.2.2*

I cannot get past the first painting

### 3/5 — Please display the name of each piece of art

*2014-07-13, version 1.2.1*

The application is nice and interesting. It would be prettier with a more integrated look. But the main issue that made me remove the app is that the name of each piece of art is not displayed. So we don't learn much, after all.

### 3/5 — Easy and beautiful

*2013-04-10, version 1.0*

I appreciate the quality of the images shown. Each painting slide is rich with color and clarity, which makes this not only a fun guessing game but also something of a mini museum. It would be helpful and more meaningful if there was a brief biography about each of the artists, perhaps clicking again on the green "correct" icon would pull up a separate window with the title of the painting, the date, and perhaps the style/time period/or other useful information. For example, when shown the image of Georges Seurat's The Siene at la Grande Jatte the player could have the option of then opening a side bar or window to inform us that it was painted in 1888 and it was painted using the pointillism method, which was a novel idea for the time. Perhaps even a brief note about where the painting is hanging at the present time? I just think the app could be a bit more interactive which helps the player learn not to just identify the artist, but also the context.

### 5/5 — Good learning tool.

*2021-07-15*

This is a great guide for studying art history of the major artists. It has a few glitches and will stop at certain times, but I like it. I’d prefer that the glitches were fixed and I could use it more.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2017-10-29*

A great way to learn about art at any age!

### 5/5 — Love it!

Great way to learn artists & / or paintings you don't know, and to see old favorites.
