It only consists of a random feed of artwork and an option to save to camera roll. I would love features such as saving artwork to an in app gallery to view later with all of the information about the artwork, search function, curated albums of artwork by theme, etc. The idea was there but the development was lazy. I’m disappointed as this was pretty expensive and I had high expectations. ### 2/5 — Needs a search function *2021-03-10, version 1.1.3* There is no way to search for different genres/artists/galleries in the app. You have to go through a lot of images that may not be interesting to you at all. ### 3/5 — Good App but need to update *2021-01-25, version 1.1.3* This is a good App which I’ve been looking for long time, and it does contain many art pictures. I used it to set my wall paper on my iPad, it’s beautiful and matches my iPad setups. Sometimes I also watch the painting and enjoy the world of arts. But, it is really bothering once I want to look back what I saw or search, I have no clue of what it is. There is no library or museum information, no catalogue, no list or suggestions. If the App always keeps like this, it has no difference to go to website or search with Google, even it is better if I search with Google I can easily get more information and more related paintings. Why I need to pay $5 if the App just creates a link or cache of the painting? Please update the App with sorting functions with catalogue or library information, even better if it can come with some more introduction except the name and author. Leider beginnen, auch wenn man die Hintergründe nur einmal wöchentlich wechselt, relativ schnell die Wiederholungen. Nicht exakt die Bilder wiederholen sich dabei, sondern die Motive und Künstler, so als gäbe es nur einen sehr begrenzten urheberrechtlich abgedeckten Fundus. Es werden eher unbedeutende Werke gezeigt, gepaart mit unzähliger sogenannter Graffiti-Kunst. Graffiti kann zwar Kunst sein, hier werden aber hauptsächlich Schmierereien an Hauswänden gezeigt. Das speichern als Wallpaper ist relativ umständlich. It's really nice to always have a new piece of art to enjoy - adds a little bit of fun to life. The signal to noise ratio of good backgrounds is high vs other apps I found on the store with crappy graphics and cliche photos. Some of the reviews complain that you can't browse via artists or museums (it's just a sequential feed of random art) but I personally like it.
