This has never happened before. Now I have to do them on my iPad photos. When I double tap in the ArtWord app, it jumps to the top of the screen and will not say paste, so I cannot use the app. I sent 2 messages today, and haven’t heard back. There is nothing wrong with that (though I disagree with the appropriateness in most cases), but suddenly after an “UPDATE,” NEARLY ALL FEATURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY. This is called crippling software that people have already downloaded and been using. It’s despicable and should not even be legally allowed. This is NOT a way to attract customers and encourage loyalty, it’s SLEAZY and offensive. One of the many reasons I’ve been transitioning all my devices to the Android ecosystem. I don’t have to have surprises like this with no way to revert them to what I previously had. Podríais haber metido nuevos templates o funciones de pago, y dejar gratis lo que ya estaba gratis. En fin, desinstalada y a buscar una alternativa. Fue bonito mientras duró. ### 1/5 — Glitchy terrible app! *2025-06-15, version 1.7.3* I don’t know why this app has good reviews but my experience was terrible! I’m just glad I didn’t pay for it. Just trying to add basic text to a photo was near impossible. The photo kept reverting to be in the front. When I typed in the text box it gave me no option to return to the image with text:working canvas. Trying to select the text box made it disappear behind the photo so I kept having to bring it to the front again. Then trying to edit the text was even worse. I clicked the text box to edit. After editing the text (which weirdly opens in a separate page versus just unlocking the text box on the image page?!$&@?!) it gave me no option to save the text updates nor go back to the previous screen to preview the image. When I first created the text there was a check mark at the top right to use when your text input is complete but that had been replaced with a download button. I finally had to just close out of it and of course none of my text changes were saved. It didn’t matter what menu item I selected none of them had a back button to return to the previous screen with the image. I realize this isn’t a pro photo editor but having basic editing features and back buttons are essential. It was just an awful mess of nonsense and I am not here for that. Wish I could get back the 30 minutes of wasted time trying to add one line of text to a photo (I’m a designer so I definitely know how to do that via useable apps!)!! ### 1/5 — Aus sehr gut wurde nicht empfehlenswert *2025-05-16* Ich bin seit 2022 Nutzer und war zufrieden, bis die App umstrukturiert wurde und das Bezahlsystem jegliche Nutzung einschränkt. Somehow my keyboard had gotten out of the dock setting and was floating, preventing the “Paste” function to work.
