This app begged for a review during the onboarding process. (Conveniently prior to their first ad popping up) Asking for a review before a user has even used your app is DISHONEST and UNSCRUPULOUS. A company with ethics would want to understand how their users actually feel about their product, versus inflating their App Store rating artificially and prematurely. Why even read further, any company doing this is SHADY. 2. 0 STARS. Immediately after asking the user to review an app they haven’t used, the first ad began- which was a minute-long pop up video ad, which consists of hawking a “free” app riddled with consumable in-app purchases. This ad played about 5 different times while trying to test out the app- even AFTER unlocking the “LIFETIME” offer, which promises to unlock all content and remove ads. It took uninstalling the app and then using the ‘restore’ button TWICE before ads were finally removed [I hope]. 3. 2 or 3 stars. Meh. It is nice to have all 3 ‘sets’ in once place (kids coloring, adult coloring book, and sketchbook mode) but I am not impressed with the caliber of this app, considering this is a subscription based app. It should rival if not exceed any paid art app, but instead it falls short. Kids coloring book- An ok number of coloring pages. Easy to use controls Glitter mode is fun but could be more realistic, ability to have background music and is fun and being able to toggle it on/pff is great Would like to see a “fill in” mode which is present in the adult coloring book but absent in the kids’ version for some reason. Adult Coloring book- A limited number of pieces of art for what is supposedly a paid subscription app. I would never pay a subscription for content that could be gone through in a month or two. Very lacking. Very lacking. Fun, has a lot of brush options Sketchbook- Pretty decent with a bunch of brushes BUT ultimately UNUSABLE as the “undo” feature only lets you undo the very last stroke. Any robust app allows you to undo way more strokes, which is handy when you have added a handful or two of strokes and realize you don’t like the result. **Developer response:** We sincerely apologize for your experience. When you start, it pops up with a mandatory privacy warning and then WHAM! your entire screen gets hijacked by some weird promotion about buying a game about a king. No way to get past it to the actual program, if you tap on the arrow in the upper right corner it takes you to the App Store attempting to coerce you to buy this advertised game.
