More than the basics are all there and there are plenty of options to customize things. Love the app it’s very similar to Apollo and in many ways better. I get the “FAILED TO LOAD POSTS” “check your internet connection and try again” on many different WiFi and cell phone areas. Problem is too, it loads the post then immediately flashes over to the “FAILED TO LOAD POST”. Also, the app support here just takes your to their webpage ### 5/5 — So much more reliable than Reddit’s own app *2026-05-12* The worst thing Reddit did was the API fees! Forced us back to using the Reddit app which is garbage - slow, randomly stops loading (need to refresh), and just unreliable. This is amazing! Feels like the old Apollo app again (I still miss it). (This was available in Apollo and is now in Narwhal) ### 3/5 — A promising replacement for Apollo. *2026-06-08* This is the first app I’ve found that comes close to the glory of the old Apollo Reddit app. The monthly fee is very reasonable too. It’s nearly perfect, but has a couple annoying bugs and quirks that prevent me from giving it five stars at the moment. The worst issue is the app freezes a lot, and it seems to center mostly around downloading videos and gifs, and less often when just viewing them. The other issue is that there are some features that require you to leave the app and use the browser for. Such as following a person requires you to go to the website, which is a bit annoying. Other apps don’t seem to have this issue, even Apollo when using it through “alternative” methods doesn’t have this issue. So I’m hoping it’s something that will be added in a future update. But over all it’s a very promising start and I’m excited to see where it goes in the future. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2026-07-29* I only use it for browsing, so I can’t speak to the other features, but it’s about as good as it gets since Apollo, RIP. However, please dev, make search more flexible since it’s the only reason I need to keep using the official app. Official app and website have filters like past day,week,month and sort order such as sorting by date, etc. ( All missing in this app.) Anyway keep up the good work! ### 5/5 — Just like Apollo *2026-06-27* Honestly, I’m really wondering why they had to shut down Apollo if something like Artemis exists. It works so well and it’s so similar. It’s really sad that that great app had to be closed, but it seems Artemis has a working business model. Let’s hope for the best!
