There’s quite a bit of customization that goes into developing your chosen party as well as a fairly cohesive narrative. Last played several years ago and it was an enjoyable experience, enough to return to it which isn’t something most idle games would be described as. Likewise, one time purchases can greatly impact gameplay, to the point where a subscription seems unnecessary. This is an app that balances payment without being too greedy if you want to see faster progression, which as several one-time purchases as a permanent boost as well as skills/classes that increase speeding through content. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Not much visual action but it’s still a cool concept and in my opinion underrated ### 5/5 — Definitely a hidden gem of a game *2024-05-01* This game is actually pretty good, if you’re into rpg text type things, it’s really cool in detail, like I got this sword of night that when equipped makes that section of the game night time for as long as it’s equipped, I stopped playing mostly because I just got a bit repetitive in how I played at least which was a good 2-3 weeks, it’s not that I didn’t like the combat I just didn’t really have that many options for classes and races because I played pretty early near launch, the text and dialogue you get is pretty cool and the skills that you can equip to your characters ### 5/5 — Most Fun I've Had with Mobile Incremental *2024-03-28* I've been looking for a JRPG style incremental for a long time. This one checks all the boxes while also using random loot, one of my other favorite things. Spent money on the in app purchases and do not regret it for a second. There are a lot of options for playstyles from heavily interactive to mostly idle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an incremental idle RPG with a lot of build strategy and many unlockable features. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying for it if I had the extra cash but to get a brand new update after so long and get smacked in the face with that feels sorta bad. Also the game didn’t even add new images that were at least free to compensate a bit. I only noticed this problem because the new update broke so many of my characters builds that I wanted to relearn the classes from the very beginning but couldn’t add any images. This game is basically a novel but every few pages there is a battle element that acts independent of you and just takes time. Pretty neat idea. The actual idle feature of sending your units on missions, equipping, and assigning them different classes is cool too (though the classes all get thrown on you very quickly and would probably have been better if done more incrementally somehow—or if you did things to unlock various professions). The main issue I have with the game is it’s incomplete. Its like reading a fantasy novel, putting many many hours in then realizing the last half of the book is blank…epic cliffhanger. Of course this wouldn’t be an issue if the content/story was updated regularly…but as you can see, the game has not been updated much in the past half year. The most recent update, as far as I can tell didn’t even add anything to the story (which stops at chapter 3 which seems to be halfway through). This is a bit unfortunate given I had just put some money into the game too… Anyways, I think the game/story is actually dead and won’t be completed given the long wait in story development. The mechanics are complex, if rather opaque at times, and while there are many tooltips it’s not necessarily always clear what something does. Hilariously the wiki buttons link directly to the Japanese wiki. The translation is good in terms of prose, but again when it comes to mechanics is not always the clearest. Nonetheless I would highly recommend this game over the thousands of copy and paste idle games on the app store. If you can get past the learning curve, there’s a lot of soul to it. ### 4/5 — Actually pretty good *2025-07-27* No p2w mechanics, no gacha, free to play. Story is like a novel and has lore. I have sat in my bed or at my desk for hours at a time trying to build my perfect parties. I can create who and what I want with 100 possibilities and the more you progress the more they throw at you to customize more! At first it starts slow, few classes, few skills, etc. However, if you stay with it and understand the mechanics of the game, you can then make a Beast berserker that hurts himself to deal tons of dmg or a priest that can be a sword wielder!!! There are endless possibilities and I love this game a lot! There are some flaws though, for example I don’t fully understand the summoner part of the game because there is no guide that explains it perfectly. There also isn’t something that says side states on weapons and gear attacks or doesn’t, so I do sometimes just in case but for specific classes is more difficult to sit there and build when there are no specific stats to go off of for it.
