We will automatically play the next episode for you. Sit back and relax. Watch ARTE offline With our download option you can now watch ARTE programmes offline. That means on the plane, on the beach or wherever you like. Download videos by pressing the download button (before you go off grid). Your downloads are stored in your “MyARTE” space for 72 hours and are accessible abroad. Linkup to your TV screen If you have a Chromecast key or Apple TV you can connect the ARTE app to your TV screen. Just click on the ‘Cast’ icon in the video player. MyARTE In your “MyARTE” space you can continue watching videos from where you left off, select your favourites and add content to watch later. Language - Choose your language by clicking on the cog on the bottom-right of the video player. (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish). You can also change languages in the app settings. Également une bonne idée : les shorts que vous avez créé, pour « binger » mais qui perdent tous leurs sens, car dès qu’on part de la section, on est exposée exactement aux mêmes vidéos qu’on vient de passer 30 minutes à regarder. Très frustrant de devoir tout repasser pour découvrir plus de contenu court. Endlich mal eine informative Alternative im Vergleich zu YouTube Shorts oder TikTok. Ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn diese Funktion weiter ausgebaut wird oder zumindest aktiv fortgeführt wird. Wir haben zwar Netflix abonniert, aber das ist kein Vergleich. ARTE bietet Filme auf höchstem Niveau! Allein schon die Möglichkeit, mehrere Filme von Claude Chabrol sehen zu können, ist Gold wert. Erstklassige, anspruchsvolle Inhalte der Filme, tagesaktuelle Reportagen, und dazu der Originalton, das bietet kein anderer Dienst in Deutschland. Danke! ### 1/5 — Nada / Nothing *2026-02-04, version 6.4.4* Nothing interesting and kind of useless unfortunately. ### 5/5 — iOS26.2 und es ist vorbei *2026-01-23* Heute Nacht hat das iPad auf das iOS 26.2 geupdated und es ist vorbei mit der Performance und Funktionalität, wie hier bei ARTE: die App funktioniert nicht mehr, obwohl sie im App Store aktualisiert wurde und das iPad neu gestartet. Auch die Installation und Neuinstallation haben nicht dazu beigetragen, dass die App wieder funktionieren würde. Ob es an Apple oder ARTE liegt, wissen wir nicht, egal, so etwas geht gar nicht. Update: nun funktioniert die App wieder, danke für die Info vom Entwickler Team. **Developer response:** Am 19.01. gab es von 18 bis 22 Uhr einen Service-Ausfall, der auch die App betraf. Das Problem wurde inzwischen behoben. Könnten Sie es noch einmal probieren? Falls das Problem bei Ihnen immer noch auftritt: Könnten Sie uns mehr Infos dazu geben, was genau nicht funktioniert?
