The app is easy and pretty intuitive to use. I'm incredibly impressed with how well the app digests the important content & generates an appropriate script. The lower-tier speakers aren't as good at matching natural speech patterns but they're far from robotic. I think there is still some room for improvement with QOL features like additional custom speeds, but I feel like this is a great product as it stands. Initially, I ran into a bug but the developer responded & fixed it quickly. I regret not being more patient when I wrote the original review, but I was really excited about the potential of this app and frustrated that it wasn't working. It was 100% on me that I wasted a free trial credit. I uninstalled & re-installed the app to see if it would help my issue, and the app generated a new article it pulled from its internet feed on reinstall. I am so glad this is a responsive developer because that makes such a huge difference in the user experience and in the app market.

Hoping the developer will take note since I haven't had a response to my in-app support request or my email. I think this is a great concept, but the on the latest version, the app gets stuck on the generating article part. So you end up wasting credits.

Thanks for taking the time to share this, and I’m really sorry you ran into this issue and didn’t hear back yet. That’s on us. The “stuck on generating” problem definitely isn’t the experience we want, and we’re actively looking into it. Also, just to clarify, credits are only deducted after a successful generation, so you shouldn’t lose any if it gets stuck. If you’re open to it, could you reach out again at support@articlecast.ai or share a bit more detail (like the article or when it happened)? That would help us track this down faster and make sure it’s fixed for you. Appreciate you calling this out, and we’ll get it resolved.
