Dropping a painting in it is super easy.... but am getting a bit frustrated that it isn’t instagram formatted and for us artists this is the point of such an app: first of all, on my iPad I never can see the full wall. I have to add my painting, then Download it to my photos and then only I can see the whole image, which is not available to see in the app itself ?.?? Makes no sense. But since it is a very wide pic you have to crop it first before you can post it. And I have been waiting for a lot more wall options to come, unfortunately the selection is rather limited, and that will make me cancel my paying subscription ### 3/5 — Issues downloading to Instagram *2020-07-20, version 1.11* I’ve been trying to download a picture to Instagram; however, it keeps telling me to open Instagram app. Instagram app is open and can’t download the picture. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-03-09, version 2.10* When you upload your own rooms and add frames to your artwork, 90% of the time the frames are ridiculously massive and well out of proportion. It’s ridiculous and totally useless ### 1/5 — App said 3-day Free Trial - Scam⚠️ *2023-02-25, version 1.78* I downloaded this app on 2/25/23 and chose the year subscription because it said there was a 3-day Free trial. Once I got into the app noticed there was no option to create a My folder, and the options available were minimal. When you uploaded an image of your art and entered the width, it wasn’t correct. It covered the screen and wasn’t sized correctly. So, I canceled 10 minutes after what I thought was a “trial,” which is incorrect. My card showed a $42.79 charge. If you offer a 3-day trial, then you charge after that time, and if the customer didn’t cancel, not beforehand. I emailed for feedback requesting a refund!! ### 1/5 — Cost😠 *2023-01-31* I might need to use the app once ever couple months. To pay for subscription is ridiculous. Can’t even try the app out properly. Three walls and no frames at all…thumbs down **Developer response:** Hi Annelily, we have free trial for Yearly subscription, you can cancel before you are charged. Hope you will try and after that will give a fair constructive review. So sad that you rushed to give a bad review even before trying the app ### 1/5 — Where do I start?? *2022-07-08* 1. Frames are awful, you need oak float frame options 2. Selected art should stay up and let me see it in any room I want without having to reselect it each time. 3. Why can I not see the entire room until I save it and then have to look in my photos. I am using my phone which might affect this but every other insitu app I’ve used on my phone does not do this . I want to see the entire room when choosing where to place art. This is a no brainer. 4. Please get rid of the hideous pumpkin in the small kitchen room 5. I can’t believe I have this app for a year, having said that your rooms themselves are really beautiful. You just need to fix these issues if you want serious artists to use this app. Issues 2 & 3 make using your app so time wasting. **Developer response:** For 3, just turn your phone to horizontal mode to see the entire room. I also love how they truly listen to artist feedback and the diversity of the room interiors and layouts. Developer was prompt to respond back and followed up on 4.18.23 to make sure that my money was returned. Thanks for the good customer service! I emailed for feedback and the developer said there was a glitch for the free trial, which they corrected. ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2020-09-05, version 1.14* I like everything about this app but one thing. More on that in a minute. It’s easy to use, just like their advertisement says upload the image adjust the size place it in the scene download the photo and voila, you get to see your art in different settings. My only complaint is I don’t love all of the settings.Another reviewer said that you cannot see the full seen image on your iPad or iPhone. That is not true, you can just turn your phone into landscape mode when viewing the image within the app and then you can see the whole room. My only suggestion is It would be great to have more scenes for small pieces of work and rooms that are a bit more modern, light and neutral so the art really shines. The developer is very responsive and when I made that request on the next update of the app they did add a scene that allowed for small works of art to be shown.
