I can upload images into the app, but all that’s ever shown on the wall in AR is a white rectangle that says “Artplacer”. While I have go to spaces I’m always excited to explore the never ending new added rooms and gallery’s. Recently, they have expanded the functionality by adding the ability to place 3D art, too. The price is affordable for even the smallest art studios. That is not possible with this app. Still, if you want to preview 1 piece of art this app works very well. Only constructive feedback is that it is a bit cumbersome to have to add title, author and size of the art before being able to preview it. ### 4/5 — Decent. Could use a few improvements. *2021-01-28, version 9.0.9* App works well for the most part and seems reasonably accurate. You may need to do the alignment a few times to get it right. I would still measure if you have critical or tight dimensions. It would be nice if they had a skew correction for photos (like in scanner apps) to make photos square. At minimum a grid overlay on camera would be nice. Overall a helpful app. ### 5/5 — Great concept and top notch art. *2020-12-08, version 4.0.3* Innovative and very very cool. This app lets you see art from some of the worlds best artists “LIVE” on you own walls using augmented reality. It helps you judge the size you need and make sure that anything you’re interested in matches the look and feel of your own room. Then take a screenshot or download and show your other half. Uploaded a picture... Tried to use the visualiser -which says take 3 steps from the wall and then offers two red buttons , one of which doesn't do anything and one gives a blank frame and a share button. Please help needs a solution ### 1/5 — False Advertising *2021-12-22* Was interested in viewing this app. It says the full version is free in the the description of the site on the App Store on Apple. But I tried, I really looked all over. Maybe it is obvious to others. There are times I don’t see something that is right in my face. So maybe some glitch in the website maybe. I bought desktop version but mobile is not connected. TBH it’s quite spendy compared to other room generators, but for me it has been worth it for the quality of the images. I sell my artwork both on my own website EmilyKrill.com and on the interior design site Artful Home and I use ArtPlacer mock-ups for every listing. It’s honestly really difficult to sell high-priced art sight unseen but these mock-ups help quite a lot. I also have the widget embedded in my website so that potential buyers can visualize what my pieces will look like in their homes. I just sold a large diptych for several thousand dollars to someone who had never seen my work in person and I’m sure that my room views helped get the sale. So, it’s definitely worth a try. One of my biggest struggles when shopping for art online was figuring out if a piece would actually look good in my space. With ArtPlacer’s AR feature, I can literally see the artwork on my wall using my phone, at the right scale—it makes a huge difference. The room mockups are also super helpful when browsing; I get a better feel for how a piece would look in different settings.
