### 4/5 — Can’t get the star or eye icon to work

*2023-04-09, version 1.8.5*

It dies register when I try to tap the star or the eye. :( :( IPhone XR :( :(

### 4/5 — Amazing but

*2019-04-26, version 1.3.0*

Amazing but I constantly have to redownload the app cause it won’t load! Like twice a week! WiFi or 4G! Any time of day!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-04-16, version 1.3.0*

This is a great app to find what’s on in different locations. Could you please update the iPad version so it fills the whole screen on an iPad Pro?

### 4/5 — Tiny frame

*2018-11-25, version 1.1.9*

Great app, but why is the app stuck in an iPhone 4 ratio frame after the current update? Sort it out guys!!

### 5/5 — Awesomely direct access to contemporary art around you

*2017-05-11, version 1.0*

Clean and quick it directs you to nearby exhibitions and events or you can search for those further afield.

Just note two limits to the scope
- it's contemporary art only
- it's only as good as local curators are at adding information. Please do encourage your local curators to use it!

### 5/5 — Awesome App!!

*2017-03-03, version 1.0*

Great idea, this app is really useful. It works perfectly. I love it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please get an e-mail asap I cannot modifica and error in my event

*2025-06-18, version 2.0.4*

No support e-mail tho

### 1/5 — Just one(!) exhibition in the Rhineland Region

*2025-01-11, version 2.0.4*

That is ridiculous. Even if you focus on the four in the description mentioned regions. Just one exhibition in Cologne-Düsseldorf area is laughable.

### 1/5 — It crashes

*2019-12-21, version 1.3.9*

I can’t even open it. It just crashes.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-03-03*

It won’t go past the intro. Website appears to be dead as well.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks very much for your feedback. Sorry to hear you can't go past the intro. Could you email us at support@artrabbit.com and describe the problem so we resolve this. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Maybe I’m stupid ..

*2017-10-19, version 1.0*

But I found it difficult to navigate or find what I wanted. My wife airdropped an event with Mary Beard using this app. I had to sign up to search because it would only offer me the option of Isleworth even though at the time , I was in Ealing . After signing up, I couldn’t find it . I compare this to Art Guide where I can type in what I want and not be constrained by having to pick a location .

### 1/5 — Can't even get past the directions

*2017-01-27*

Stuck in a loop on the"tour" of the app...then it quit 😝

**Developer response:** We're so sorry to hear that- Thanks very much for bringing it to our attention - we're working on that bug for you now!

### 2/5 — Location search is difficult

*2020-03-08, version 1.4.5*

I’m not sure why changing the location is so difficult, it would be easier if “current location” were an option in the search field rather than a main setting which needs to be changed every time you want to look elsewhere.

I keep deleting this app in frustration then adding again hoping it has improved.. then deleting again. I so want to love it.

### 3/5 — Why not give the gallery address?

*2023-03-18*

Images are great but the app would be far more useful if gallery locations were stated or made more visible. Linking to google maps isn’t enough.

### 3/5 — Can’t move out of help mode

*2019-04-08, version 1.3.0*

I used to use this app and it worked great more of a 5 star so I know the app is worth that kind of rating but I currently can’t move out of help mode, so unable to use the app at all.

### 3/5 — ok app

*2018-02-13, version 1.0*

would be better with prices of exhibitions

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect app for exploring art in NYC

*2026-06-19*

ArtRabbit is my go-to resource whenever I’m in the city and looking for exhibitions nearby. It’s well-organized, easy to use, and a fun way to discover new artists and art spaces.

### 5/5 — Finally, One App for Arts Globally

*2026-06-19*

As someone who visits exhibitions regularly, ArtRabbit has become the first app I open when planning a day of art.

What sets it apart is its scope. Most exhibition listing apps focus primarily on commercial galleries, but ArtRabbit brings together galleries, museums, artist-run spaces, biennials, art fairs, festivals, talks, and special events in one place. It’s easily the most comprehensive exhibition discovery platform I’ve found anywhere in the world.

The curated city guides and self-guided tours are especially useful when traveling. Instead of spending hours piecing together recommendations from different websites, I can open the app and find thoughtfully curated routes, neighborhood guides, and cultural itineraries created by artists, curators, and editors.

The interactive maps, opening hours, saved exhibitions, and festival guides make it incredibly easy to plan a day around art, whether I’m in New York, London, Berlin, Los Angeles, or somewhere new.

If you’re interested in contemporary art, from major museum exhibitions to hidden gems you might otherwise miss, ArtRabbit is one of the most useful cultural apps available.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2019-07-19, version 1.3.0*

It is a very good app, useful and well organised

### 5/5 — nice app but...

*2019-03-12, version 1.3.0*

I have no idea why, it works perfectly on my iPad but I can’t get out of the help menu that appears once downloaded, on my iPhone. Tried reinstalling a couple of times but it keeps happing. Excellent and very useful app though, I recommend.
UPDATE:
Still not working on my iPhone, very frustrating. I keep deleting and reinstalling but it is still stuck on the intro menu which I can’t get out of. I have emailed you and have received automated emails that you would get back to me but you never do. I have written to you 3 times now.

### 5/5 — Super fast and smooth

*2019-01-14, version 1.3.0*

You guys and your app have made my breaks and evenings not only bearable but amazing. Nothing better then lunch or a wine and art.
Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — The best art app out there

*2018-10-27, version 1.0*

For the arts for the community, for the exhibition opening information, for the future. This is the springboard for what is happening now. I’m inspired by the possibilities that art rabbit culture represents.

### 5/5 — Best companion for exploring art locally

*2017-09-19, version 1.0*

This app has been my invaluable companion when planning a visit to a gallery. I get all the right information plus tipps about nearby exhibitions so I can really maximize my day out!
ArtRabbit is also great when exploring art abroad and discovering new and buzzing neighborhoods. Big thumbs up for this app!

### 5/5 — Just what the london art scene needs!

*2017-08-01, version 1.0*

Great tool to promote galleries and artists. A very easy way to keep your arts calendar up to date and the map view makes it super easy to find new spaces all over the city.

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2017-07-24, version 1.0*

Definitely life changing!

### 5/5 — The best app for adding a bit more art to your daily life

*2017-07-19, version 1.0*

I’ve been using Art Rabbit regularly in the last few months and am impressed. Both at home in London, or when traveling to places like New York and Berlin, the app’s been super useful when planning trips, or hopping into a gallery nearby to soak up some art on a lunch break or spare hour or two. The Art Rabbit app is easy to use and covers both major and smaller venues. I recommend it to anyone looking to squeeze a bit more art into their life.
