Every time I try to import something into Art Studio from my photo album the app freezes and I have to go into settings /apps/art-studio/ and click on give full access. Full Access is already permanently on so I don’t know why I keep have to click on full access every time I want to import a photo! Most other photo editor apps on the App Store heavily focus on filters, even Photoshop Express is nowhere near its photo editing experience on a computer. This app has a pro version, one would think that the pro version has to be better, right? I have tried the Pro version for a few months and the UX of that product just makes me miss the older non-PRO version even more. Eventually I ditched the PRO app despite having already paid for it. The PRO version is very clunky, controls are everywhere and oftentimes I have to hunt around to find out what to press next. It’s so much more less intuitive. It’s ok you will not maintain or develop this version any further but please leave it in the App Store. An old friendbof me showed me this app as their "Secret art program", and I have been hooked since! I love how you can create such amazing, colorful artworks with this. Also, the brushes are the best. There are some things I cannot find anywhere else in an art program, like the burn tool! I'm obsessed with that tool! It creates such vivid and eye pleasing colors in my art! I use this to draw nostalgic characters very often. It makes for a great art program and photoshop substitute. However, today was the day your app gave me issues and made me livid. Whenever I had left out of the app for barely a second, it would reopen as if I’m opening it for the first time in a while and undo whatever I had that wasn’t saved. And then, it turned all of my art into barcodes for some stupid reason. I would try to reload it without saving and it shows the original picture in the thumbnail but it reloads the image as barcodes. An entire day of work is all gone because of this random bug that showed up out of nowhere and ruined everything. The paid version is useless to anyone who doesn’t worship graphic design programs. I have a full art department at my disposal; thanks for making me find some other program to express my ideas to them so they can execute them on a proper platform at the cost of supporting your efforts. I paid $5 for this crap just for it to stop working properly and constantly throw away any progress I make with my art, and now I have to pay $12 for something that’ll probably have the exact same thing happen. Workflow, layers, ect, it’s right on par. Every now and then a bug comes along and deletes the project your working on, but saving your work periodically as your creating it is totally worth the work around- it’s a habit one should get into working on any creative file on any app… Five stars.
