The measuring point would not “fix” a location without multiple attempts to find the exact surface which would reflect the EM spectrum the camera uses. Painted walls do not work or doors, carpet worked but with definite, even ludicrous parallax distortion. Never bothered trying the more complex features it claims to have. If it could not measure simple linear distances, why compound errors with multiple dimensions? There are several others which use the camera, unclear if any work well. Am very clear this one does not. ### 1/5 — Too bloody eager for you money *2018-08-07* I want this app, it’s a great idea I was sceptical but also curious. The app allows you to use it free of charge but for only three or so measurements (of which none actually agreed with each other), until it forced me to purchase the app! If I had a chance to use it and figure it out I’m sure I would’ve got better results but you cut me off! nobody will buy software that doesn’t work ### 1/5 — actually garbage *2018-06-07* what the title says ### 1/5 — not even close to being accurate *2018-04-08* I measured a computer monitor that I know for sure is 20” according to this app it is 47”. You are ripping people off to charge them money for this. ### 1/5 — Distance limit really? *2017-09-22* Having a distance limit before cheating for pro is a pretty poor way to go about asking for pro upgrade. Please change this. ### 2/5 — No accurate *2018-08-12* I measured my computer, desk, things on my desk, and a 12 inch ruler an all measurement we off by between 1 inch and a 1/2 inch. Deleted the app. ### 2/5 — Needs lots of work *2018-05-27* Trying to get the height width and depth of a cube and it’s not working. I can only get 2 of the 3 at best ### 2/5 — Amazing Idea but... *2017-09-20* Despite following the guide and ensuring optimum camera conditions, I cannot get this app to deliver anywhere near a reliable measurement. One measurement is 0.9m and the next 1.5m. Also, regarding the in-app purchase for premium - I think this could be implemented in a better way. Instead of limiting the distance in the free version, perhaps you could throw a few ads in for revenue and make the distance unlimited. If the other measuring types such as complex and height are needed, THEN the user can upgrade. It seems a little backwards to limit the main feature of the app. ### 3/5 — Very promising *2017-09-21* Clearly in beta still but is looking extremely promising. Sometimes can’t find a spot when I try to measure white material next to a black background which is puzzling. Also needs more light than I’d like.
