## What is ARVE | AI Raw Video Editor?

ARVE turns one long recording into a short reel — no timeline, no manual trimming. Film a walk, a ride, a workout, a snowboard run or anything else in one continuous take, on any camera, dashcam or phone, and let ARVE find what happens and cut it down.

How a session works:
1. Pick one long video from your gallery.
2. Choose how much detail goes off for analysis — a small silent copy, a sharper silent copy, or a sharp copy with sound. Whatever you choose, the full-quality original never leaves your phone; only that downsized copy is sent.
3. ARVE reads the recording and marks where something happens.
4. Pick a rhythm — calm, medium or aggressive — and a length. The reel is assembled right on your device, no network needed for this step.
5. Add a finish: one of ten colour looks or none, and sound — the original audio, silence, or a track of your own.
6. Save to your gallery or share straight from the app.

Not sure about the rhythm or length you picked? Rebuild the same recording at a different setting without analysing it again — the assembly step doesn't touch the network.

What ARVE actually does:
— Works with footage from any camera, dashcam or phone — it doesn't care whose ecosystem it came from.
— The reel's length follows what the material gives: if there isn't much worth keeping, ARVE says so instead of padding it out.
— A history of every attempt, with a plain status for each one — processing, marked up, ready, saved, unfinished, or the source video gone.
— Ten colour looks plus a no-filter option, and three sound modes.
— English and Russian interface, switchable in Settings.
— ARVE never posts anything on its own. Save puts the reel in your gallery; Share hands the file to whichever app you pick.

Worth knowing: analysis today reads a steady, unmoving shot best — that's what it's tuned for. Everything else is open ground worth trying on your own footage.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.29 — 2026-10-15

Transitions, effects and fine cuts now sit in a new "Advanced settings" section on the cut screen, together with a new switch, "Prioritize loud moments": among equally strong moments the cut prefers the louder ones. Sound is measured on your phone and never leaves it, and the switch is off by default.
Assembling no longer stops when you leave the app (iOS 26), the screen stays on while it works, and if assembling is interrupted the app says so and lets you retry for free. When a clip does not make it into the reel, the app now says why, and a video in a less common format no longer stops a reel from being finished. Stopping a run while clips are still being prepared now takes effect right away, and the messages about videos downloading from iCloud are clearer. A purchase now survives brief server outages, and the time when you can continue after a limit is exact.

### 1.0.24 — 2026-10-11

Chronological order: a new switch on the cut screen puts clips in shooting order; you can drag to adjust. Animated transitions are now on by default. Smoother video preview: the progress bar moves evenly and the time is shown in whole seconds. The processing percent no longer disappears during upload.

### 1.0.22 — 2026-10-09

Fixed: if you leave the app while a reel is being assembled, assembly now resumes automatically when you come back — no need to start it again by hand.

### 1.0.19 — 2026-10-07

Fixed: backgrounding the app while large videos are uploading no longer makes iOS show a false notification that the task failed.

### 1.0.16 — 2026-10-07

Fixed: processing many or long videos on iPhone no longer makes memory grow without bound. A clip whose file can't be read all the way through is now dropped with a clear reason instead of picking up another video's analysis.
