## What is arznei?

Das arznei-telegramm® (a-t) informiert seit mehr als 50 Jahren Ärzte, Apotheker und andere Heilberufe über Nutzen und Risiken von Arzneimitteln – neutral und unabhängig, ohne Werbung und ausschließlich durch Abonnements finanziert. Es erscheint monatlich und gibt aktuelle praxisnahe Empfehlungen mit speziellem Blick auf die Sicherheit und den für Patienten relevanten Nutzen.

Nichtabonnenten können alle Ausgaben des arznei-telegramm® außer den drei aktuellen Jahrgängen einsehen, aus denen aber ausgewählte Artikel frei zugänglich sind.

Die atd-Arzneimitteldatenbank (zusätzliche Lizenz erforderlich) bewertet detailliert mehr als 2.000 Wirkstoffe und damit rund 18.000 Arzneimittel. Sie nennt deren Preise, Indikationen, Gegenanzeigen, Nebenwirkungen, Interaktionen und Pharmakokinetik und verlinkt zu über 16.000 weiterführenden Quellen. Die Arzneimitteldatenbank wird monatlich aktualisiert und ergänzt, beispielsweise um neue Medikamente.

Großes Manko ist, dass die Nutzung nur bei guter Datenverbindung (WLAN / >3G) möglich ist.👎
