Whether starting a new session or extending a current one, you must pay $0.30. A relatively a small amount, but what’s convenient about having to install an entire separate app just to park in a town you’re visiting once. The idea I have to pay to park and pay to pay to park via an app is abismal. ### 1/5 — This app stole my money *2021-06-26, version 1.1.0* I went to add an extra hour and it added an extra 9 hours. Tried to double up my total when I went to cancel it did a cancellation fee. I tried to use the app and it kept telling me “network error try again”. I’m not sure what I did wrong. I used it recently, then pretty soon after could see a ticket being placed on my car. I immediately pulled up the app and the session I "started" earlier was no longer listed in my history, even though I went through all the steps and started the session. This happened to me a while ago also, but it was one of the first times I used the app so I thought it was user error. By now I know how it works, and I know that it wasn't just me, and other people have confirmed that it's happened to them too. I was parked right in front of the sign that had the zone number, so I know that wasn't the issue. If you're going to use this app, you should double and probably triple check that the session actually started and possibly screenshot for backup in case you still get a ticket. App also lacks apple pay support. ### 1/5 — Pay station a hassle *2019-10-26, version 1.0* Tried to pay last night in Asbury park using their new pay by plate system which did not work. I hadn't my phone and didn't know about the pay by plate system since was first time there since new system was installed. I tried inserting my credit card n it would not work tried bills and the station would not let me enter them. We then went to another station n got the same, so annoyed we left town since I saw police around giving tickets.. not everyone would know before coming to town it would be such a hassle to park. You have to download an app just to pay for a parking spot? I think that is crazy besides the fact really inconvenient. ### 3/5 — Parking Paid/recd ticket 6 minutes later. *2019-10-01, version 1.0* Not sure if it is town issue or app issue, but have been using this app seemlessly since it first came out until... Found parking near beach at 10:26am paid, came back later to ticket on my car written out at 10:32am. Cmon its off season people! Called town on Monday and was able to upload the ticket and screen shot of session/payment. I get the app is free but have had many Saturday beach outings without incident. Before I knew it it was asking me for my thumbprint which is automatic charge and that I “paid “ for it. Used the saved info for my car. Had 3 hours left. Came back to a summons on my car. Just my own phone number staring back at me. their support email is quick to respond but unwilling to actually help. ### 1/5 — Add Vehicle *2026-04-01, version 9.4.3* Will not let you add or change any vehicles in your app. The “save” button simply disappears if you try to make any changes or add a new one. I tried using it and paying for parking and it kept saying it couldn’t create my session. I didn’t see any machines and it was thunderstorming. Was at a total loss and so I left and was gone for 30 mins. Came back and my $1.25 parking turned into $50.
