This one too easily changes screens because of the > feature when you don’t mean to. I did not upgrade on my phone & I’m much happier. I hate this app! The pop up ads, the changing screen, not downloading. The old app was great & I want it back! When I noticed the new charge for the next year I called and was told I will receive a refund. I’ve since called them 5 times and every single time I was told the refund was being processed and to date have never received any refund. BEWARE! ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2025-01-19, version 7.14.0* I canceled my home delivery last year because of missing paper deliveries at least once a week and switched to using the app. This app consistently freezes when trying to adjust the screen size while attempting to read in newspaper mode. It tries to connect to the server each time I open the app, not only to check for a new edition but to display each page. It is opined to be the biggest rally ever across the US and the APP decided that it wasn’t that important here. Does that mean the APP won’t be covering it either? I was very disappointed to see that it was not listed as I was looking for the location so that I could attend this event AT A VERY IMPORTANT TIME IN THIS NATION’S LIFE!! Was this a “safe” move by your editors? Staff? Thanks again…will check with Gemini to find the location. It’s easy to read and scan for the stories that interest me. Being a native to the area, but have lived away for 40 years, I love keeping in touch with the hometown. Having the full eNewspaper ensures that I don’t miss anything that’s featured in the paper edition. There’s no delay in mailing the paper.
