### 3/5 — New update is problematic

*2026-05-01*

On my iPhone, when I select the hpv test type, the app jumps down to previous cytology, skipping current cytology. If you don’t recognize that, you’ll just select previous cytology as if it’s the current cytology and leave current cytology blank, resulting in the wrong management plan. I hope you can fix this bug.

### 2/5 — New update sucks

*2026-03-02, version 2.4*

The new update is not user friendly like the old one. I could have saved the $15 and bought lunch and just used online sources faster and easier than this update.

### 3/5 — Not as easy to use as old app

*2025-01-15, version 2.0.1*

This app is difficult to use and not nearly as clear as old app

### 2/5 — Latest update less functional

*2024-11-27, version 2.0.1*

Most recent update in 2024 much more challenging to navigate- getting stuck in loops when entering information or having entered data under incorrect headings as you progress through the sequence.

### 1/5 — New Update is terrible

*2024-11-12, version 2.0.1*

The new update is horribly confusing. The timeline makes no sense and my colleagues and I are getting frequent different app algorithm answers due to confusion on how to answer the questions.

### 2/5 — ASCCP

*2024-10-30, version 2.0.1*

It is a more difficult. I was inputting info and was unable to put in the specific results for a patient. Unsure if the pt requires a colpo because inability to input exact results.

### 1/5 — Bad update

*2024-10-29*

I have used this app for years. This latest update is terrible. It makes you start with the colpo and make your way backwards and it came to a point in which I had to choose if HPV was positive or negative. Problem was, there was no option for no HPV done. It would not let me proceed from there and was useless. This was on a patient under 30 years old, so co-testing was not done. Ugh

### 4/5 — Glitchy update

*2024-10-24*

Adding dual stain results leads to the app freezing and asking for additional information when no additional information is needed or available. Works better if dual stain results are not entered. Hoping for a bug fix soon!

### 2/5 — New version is terrible

*2024-10-23, version 2.0.1*

The 10/2024 update no one asked for. It is much harder to enter data and isn’t intuitive.

### 3/5 — User guide

*2024-10-22, version 2.0.1*

Will there be an update on the User Guide or the Quick Start Guide for the updated version of the app?

### 1/5 — App Update

*2024-10-16, version 2.0.1*

App updates have made this amazing tool completely unusable. Please fix!!!

### 2/5 — Update without explanation

*2024-10-16*

The update from last week gives different clinical recommendations with no clear explanation. Did asccp change their guidelines? If not, why is it recommending new courses of action? A colleague who had not yet updated and I input the same clinical scenario into our respective apps and got completely different recommendations… what do we tell the patient?

### 1/5 — New update makes app pointless

*2024-10-11, version 2.0.1*

The update is ineffective and removed the apps step by step feature to determine guideline. Must now look at the flat algorithm, thus making the app currently obsolete.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Completely unclear

*2026-05-14, version 2.4.1*

Does not generate results and is a waste of money- better stick with the flow charts

### 1/5 — Old app better

*2026-03-29, version 2.4.1*

The old app was worth the money. This one isn’t.

### 1/5 — Not as intuitive

*2026-03-02, version 2.4*

Not as intuitive as previous app. I was a little frustrated to purchase the previous app that worked well but became unsupported and had to repurchase this app that is challenging to use. I haven’t figured out how to get it to navigate to the recommendation page

### 1/5 — Old one was so much better

*2026-01-15, version 2.4*

This new version is not intuitive at all.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2025-04-02, version 2.1.1*

For multiple scenarios it just loops back to the beginning rather than providing a recommendation.

### 1/5 — Guidelines inconsistent with the web app

*2025-01-22, version 2.0.1*

This is extreme frustrating - the recommendations in the application version no longer match the web-based version (ie have not been kept up to date)!! This has led to inadvertent mismanagement . And this is a paid application too!

### 1/5 — Not complete

*2025-01-17, version 2.0.1*

I updated the app now I am not able to see all of the options in the drop down menu. My last selection option is AGC… how can I get the full use of the app???

### 1/5 — Update is not working

*2025-01-02, version 2.0.1*

New update is giving different result despite only supposedly adding dual staining info it now gives different recommendations than prior when no dual staining info is available.

### 1/5 — Good info, terrible app.

*2024-12-26, version 2.0.1*

This app is garbage. It doesn’t allow you to advance through the screens when you enter in certain info (if someone is HPV other positive with NILM cytology.) the flow charts should also be more easy to access. It’s definitely an insult to have to pay 10$ for this.

### 1/5 — Update was a downgrade

*2024-12-12, version 2.0.1*

The new app version is very difficult to navigate in complex patient situations, and is not as straightforward as the previous version. There are also technical difficulties where the app does not scroll appropriately

### 5/5 — The Pap App is my FAVE

*2025-02-19, version 2.1*

This is a great app, very handy and reliable, and I use it daily in clinic. I love that it shows immediate and future progression to CIN-3. Helps patients understand better.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2024-11-04, version 2.0.1*

Very helpful and accessible.

### 5/5 — Special situation rarely screened patient

*2024-10-26, version 2.0.1*

This section should possibly be placed back into the update

### 5/5 — I hate the update

*2024-10-25, version 2.0.1*

It doesn’t give me management plans if I don’t have prior history. I can’t skip that part. This needs to be fixed

### 5/5 — ASCCP in daily use

*2024-10-24, version 2.0.1*

This App is one of the easiest to use and I am using it numerous times per day. Thanks

### 5/5 — Love the updated UI

*2024-10-11, version 2.0.1*

Thank you for the updates. This will help so many clinicians make appropriate follow up recommendations.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2024-02-07, version 1.7*

Love this diagnostic tool. Easy to use, accurate.

### 5/5 — So useful!!

*2023-09-29*

I use this app nearly every day I’m the clinic to help evaluate results and guide clinical decisions. I love that it has the most up to date information. Would recommend for all clinicians who are evaluating paps and colposcopies.
