Gave 4 stars because I kind of wish they showed full scripture verses before the lessons to follow along better. I guess it’s also on me to do my own further studying too. I also really enjoy the Bible trivia. I never even knew an app like this existed. However when it comes to the Bible lessons I wish it had a little more actual Bible reading because it can be hard to get the full context of the lesson from just one verse. As it is the lesson does a very brief summary with one verse and I’d just like a little bit more of the actual Bible to be apart of the lessons. It would help contextually and to get a feel for where things actually are in the Bible too. It is the inspired word of God after all. Also, it’s a minor thing, but I wish that it wouldn’t show the streak screen after every lesson completed and Bible trivia battle. It would be nice if it only showed up either when you first open the app or first complete something. It also would be neat if they involved memorizing the Bible a little bit too somehow where you could get extra gems or something maybe for memorizing a verse or for reviewing an already memorized verse. The app charged me $59.99 and try to do that repeatedly. I have reached out to Support and I’ve spoken to somebody named Gideon. He can’t fix the problem. I asked for a refund. So far, I have not received any of my money back. i’ve already reported them to Apple for a refund, and I’m gonna report them to FTC. Please be aware this is a scam for me. Update: i have started an IG page called Beware 742 with the subname Justice. I want to publish all of the correspondence between he and I this is legal. The app is operated by Gideon under the Pharah LLC in texas. If they still owe you money, you can easily find them there ### 1/5 — Feels both deceptive and manipulative *2026-07-20, version 3.01.32* This app has a three day free trial, then you pay. It walks you through a slightly heavy-handed set up process asking you to commit to the app and then they give you the cost. I got the trial for the premium but when it came the time I wanted to cancel it, I have searched the entire app head to toe, no sign of a manage subscription option to cancel, in fact it still comes up “ try 3 days free”, “get 40% off premium” etc and as I also checked my subscriptions tab under my apple account - no sign of Active Acend subscription under this time along with my other active subscriptions, so after this you would assume okay, the subscription must have cancelled however 60+ Euro has now been taken out of my account to pay for that subscription. So a bible based application starts off with a pagan symbol of rebirth from Greek Mythology. There are so many biblical references to rebirth and renewal that could be used but the developers choose symbols from the world.
