## What is Ascend?

Your gym. Your character. Your legend.

Ascend is the fitness app that turns the gym into the RPG it always should have been.

Whether you're stepping into the gym for the first time or chasing your next PR, Ascend gives you a reason to come back tomorrow.

## LEVEL UP YOUR BODY

Every workout moves your character forward.

Instead of meaningless badges or arbitrary streaks, Ascend rewards real progress. Get stronger, stay consistent, complete challenges, and watch your character evolve through a living progression system inspired by RPGs.

No fake levels.
No shortcuts.
Just real fitness, transformed into a game you'll actually want to play.

---

## NEVER LOSE MOTIVATION

Most fitness apps help you track workouts.

Ascend helps you keep showing up.

Complete quests that encourage consistency, unlock new milestones, and give every workout a purpose.

• Weekly quests that adapt to your schedule
• Rank-up challenges when you're close to leveling up
• Return missions to help you rebuild momentum after a break

---

## BUILD YOUR CHARACTER

Your stats aren't decorative.

They're earned.

Every workout contributes to a living character sheet that reflects how you actually train.

• **Strength** — Built from real lifting performance.
• **Conditioning** — Tracks your cardio fitness and aerobic progress.
• **Intelligence** — Earned through PRs and progressive overload.
• **Endurance** — Rewards consistency and weekly training habits.
• **Stamina** — Measures your long-term commitment to training.

Rise from E-Rank beginner to S-Rank legend through real-world achievement.

---

## TRAIN SMARTER

Muscle Matrix helps you understand what your workouts are actually accomplishing.

• Automatically maps every exercise to muscle groups
• Tracks weekly volume and training frequency
• Shows when muscles are undertrained, overtrained, or progressing optimally

Stop guessing.

Train with confidence.

---

## FOCUS ON YOUR WORKOUT

Workout tracking should never interrupt your training.

Ascend is built for speed, letting you log every set in seconds while keeping your focus where it belongs—on the workout itself.

• Fast workout logging
• Automatic PR detection
• Previous session preloaded
• Progressive overload tracking
• Rest timer with notifications
• Workout history and calendar
• 100+ exercises with form videos
• Custom routines and exercise swaps
• Cardio tracking
• Works offline

Less tapping.

More lifting.

---

## TRAIN WITH A PLAN

Always know what to do next.

Ascend creates personalized training plans based on your goals, experience, available equipment, schedule, and training frequency.

Your plan evolves as you do.

• Push / Pull / Legs

### 5/5 — Loving it

*2026-08-03*

Love having the level system it helped keep me focused. Only thing that would make it better is a character that grows with you and an rpg quest :)

### 5/5 — Makes me feel like Sung Jin-Woo!

*2026-07-31*

I’ve only had it for a week so far but it’s got me back in the gym, tracking my macros, and eager to level up my stats! Even without the upgrades and premium directives, this app is seriously addictive. Outside of some rare issues with the UI during routines, it’s a solid app and has me excited to reach S Rank!

### 4/5 — Looks VERY promising!!

*2026-07-31*

I was enamored by this app as soon as I found out about it and its theme. When I started, I noticed some quality of life improvements that need to be made so that everyone can enjoy the app to the fullest.

For example, let me rearrange my routines and plans around.

Another, have more exercises already in the app and have timers for certain exercises like planks. It can be a hassle for the user to try and add simple exercises even if they may already know them, think of the convenience for the customer.

I noticed that when I changed my rest time for certain exercises, they didn’t save and weren’t utilized in the actual workout. (Fixed!)

In the workout, some of the exercise names were cut off and were hard to read. (Fixed!)

It can be hard to understand what may be added when adding a custom exercise because the wording of the alternative names for muscles isn’t uniform yet. Some are straightforward and others left me scratching my head.

These are some of the issues i noticed with the app, but I’m not worried because as long as the app gets updates (and funding), then this app will likely be a successful hit!

Hopefully when the app gets updated, I’ll rewrite my review to reflect on the positives of the app. It’s got my attention, and I’m betting it’ll likely get yours too once those changes are made!

Till then! Cheers to the Dev team!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback, this is exactly the kind of input that helps us improve! Just to update you — routines now sort based on last used, and exercise timers were added in our latest update. More built-in exercises, clearer muscle naming, the rest time saving issue and exercise names being cut off are all things we're actively working on. Really appreciate the patience and kind words — cheers, and we hope to earn that updated review!

### 4/5 — Really Neat

*2026-07-30*

This is great. It’s fairly straight forward way to gamify workouts and track your progress I would love to not have to manually put in as many basic machines as I seem to have to like the treadmill for cardio but all in all I am really enjoying this app!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-25*

I’ve been using it for about a month and i am horrible at tracking my workouts. But this really made it fun and easy. I also like the rpg aspect of it.

**Developer response:** That's awesome to hear! Making workout tracking fun is exactly what we set out to do. Really glad the RPG aspect is keeping you engaged. Keep leveling up! 💪

### 4/5 — Pretty fun fitness app

*2026-07-20*

Engaging progress, would like Apple Health integration
