Ascend lives directly on your Apple Reminders and Calendar — four honest lanes, one mountain. No new database, no import, no account — your tasks ARE your reminders, your events ARE your calendar, and everything syncs the way it already does. NOW — One rail for the whole day: events, due tasks, and due notes in order, with a line where you stand. Complete, triage, or edit anything in place. TASKS — Four honest lanes as a living list: Execute, Next, Waiting, Someday. Drag a task between lanes and Ascend rewrites the real reminder — priority and due date included. DAYS — A time grid that respects your hands: tap an empty slot to create, press and hold to move or resize blocks — snapped to 15 minutes, across days. Tasks move too. THE CLIMB — Your last 30 days drawn as an ascent. Every completion climbs 10 m. Start a Climb for any project and watch the route ahead reach for its summit. The day strip on Now, the home-screen widget, and the Apple Watch complication can dress for the ascent: Base Camp — the original look, untouched, still the default. Ascension — the day stood on end. Your hours climb from base camp to the summit: a golden-hour massif, a winding trail with your events and tasks planted along it, the NOW marker where you stand, and all-day events flying as pennants in the summit sky. Two ways to climb, per device: Mountain View (the whole massif and your full day on it) or Climb Mountain (the trail underfoot — the ridge ahead, two hours at a time). Ascension keeps time: the tent is pitched at dawn, the moon rises after dark, and at 10:30 the strip resets to tomorrow — a fresh climb waiting. Pick a theme once and it follows you across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and your watch face. Notes grew up. Full-text search across every folder. Pin what matters, sort the rest. Folders are first-class — and one of them is your Journal: one tap opens today's page. Start notes from templates, connect them with [[backlinks]], link them to the tasks and events they belong to, and see your writing stats at a glance. Empty notes quietly discard themselves. Now bookends your day. The Now screen knows the hour: a morning Prepare surface to set the day, an evening Reflect to close it — and in between, an OVERDUE callout that keeps past-due tasks loud until you deal with them. Daily summit calls. Two optional notifications in Ascend's own voice — a Morning Briefing ("3 events · 2 due · your North Star") and an Evening Preview of tomorrow ("4 events · 1 due — pack tonight"). You pick the times; they're off until you invite them, and they never duplicate your Apple Reminders alarms. Sync you can sleep on. The iPhone — Watch link was rebuilt from the ground up: your day reaches the wrist reliably — first thing in the morning, after the heaviest week, every time. Ascend packs exactly what fits, never drops a sync, and both devices now show their sync health in Settings. The watch itself is now purely glanceable — Now, Tasks, Calendar, Forecast, and Notes, faster to spin through with the crown — plus quick-add (all-day events included) and dictation capture. Review and The Climb live where reflection happens: iPhone, iPad, and Mac. At home on the Mac. Everything above is fully native on the wide canvas. The new Notes workspace — search, folders, templates, backlinks, the Journal — is a real writing room; Prepare and Reflect get the big screen; themes ride the Now strip and your desktop widgets; and it stays keyboard-first with the Mac's full shortcut set. Small things, every day. The + now sits in the top-left corner and always creates what you're looking at. Tap the Ascend mountain to sync — it pulses while it works. Press and hold any task to reschedule in one press: Tonight, Tomorrow, This Weekend, Next Week, In Two Weeks, Next Month. New Settings toggles choose what rides the timeline — all-day events, North Stars, flags, notes, scenery. And a subtler app icon. Fixes that matter. - Editing the time of a repeating reminder now truly moves the whole series — no more snapping back after sync. - All-day events now show on the Now timeline instead of vanishing. - Starred notes now reach the Now screen. - The search keyboard can finally be dismissed (tap Search, tap X, or just scroll).
