AscendZ is a habit tracker for challenges and accountability. Pick a goal, start a challenge, and keep a streak with a buddy who sees only the habit you share. Pick a goal that matters. Attach one small daily habit to it. Tick it off. Watch the streak compound. TAKE ON A CHALLENGE • Set a run of days with a skip budget you choose. • Finish it and keep the record. Miss it and start another. DO IT WITH SOMEONE • Share a single habit with a buddy, not your goals or your targets. • Build a shared streak that only moves when you both show up. • Nudge a buddy when a shared habit is still open. Never at night. • Invite someone with a link they can tap. • Cheer their milestones. Nobody ranks anybody. BUILD A HABIT • One tap to log. No forms, no friction. • Daily or weekly habits, grouped under the goal they serve. • An evening reminder that only fires if the day is still incomplete. • Hold and drag to put goals and habits in your own order. SEE THE PATTERN • Today and Week views of your history. • Momentum: your current streak, your record, and where you're heading. • Widgets: your challenge as one dot per day, and with Plus, a countdown to a goal's deadline on your home and lock screen. WHY IT WORKS A streak you can't lose isn't a streak. AscendZ keeps score honestly, but it never turns a bad week into a wall of red. Missed days are quiet space, not punishment. ASCENDZ PLUS Free to start, with up to three goals and three questions for the coach. AscendZ Plus adds: • A coach that knows your history: ask about your own patterns, up to five questions a day, and get answers grounded in your real data. It interprets. It never invents numbers. • Reads of your week, month and year, in plain words. • Unlimited goals, and Month and Year views of your full history. • To-do goals: plan your week's tasks, pick today's each morning, and keep every due date in sight. • A short quote every morning at 8, from a library of more than 1,500. Plans: lifetime (one payment), yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed and cancelled in your App Store account settings. Everyone who joined before AscendZ Plus arrived has it free, for good. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Your goals and challenges are yours alone. Only habits can be shared, and only ones you pick. • Delete your account from inside the app, and everything goes with it. • No ads. No tracking. Only anonymous usage stats, never anything you write. Plan your week's tasks, pick today's each morning, and keep every due date in sight. The timer is new: set the time on a dial or with a quick pick, then start. Focus now on Today opens it on your next timed habit, and a soft birdsong tells you when time's up. New Countdown widget, part of AscendZ Plus: a dot for every day until a goal's deadline, on your home screen and lock screen. The Challenge widget now shows your run as one dot per day. AscendZ has a new icon, too. Your coach now shows how many questions you have left and when they come back, in your local time. A short note before your first coach question says what the coach sends to write its answers. Removing a goal now takes it off your plan and keeps everything you did. It lives under Habits, in Removed, and one tap brings it back. Your history is always reachable, even with no goals on the go: Finished has a door on Today and in Habits, and your record of best streak, perfect days and days logged counts every goal you have ever had. Also fixed: sending feedback works on the first try; deleting your last goal no longer drops you into first-run setup; goals you removed on one phone stay removed on the others; a blank coach reply no longer blocks your next questions; the 8pm check-in now arrives once you turn notifications on; prices on the offer page show at once, even on a slow connection; a failed refresh on Buddy no longer empties the list; a long challenge status no longer runs off the edge on smaller iPhones; sign-in errors say what went wrong, with a short wait before a new code; and the share card's goal circle fills with the habits you did. ### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-21 Ascend is now AscendZ. Same app, same habits, same streaks. New: AscendZ Plus, with a coach that knows your history, reads of your weeks, months and year, unlimited goals, your full history and a quote each morning. Everyone who joined before this update has Plus free, for good. Also new: • Nudge a buddy when a shared habit is still open, and get an optional alert when they keep one. Invite a buddy with a link they can tap. • Pull down on Today or Habits to sync. Hold and drag to reorder goals and habits. • Every notification switch now lives in one place, under Profile. • Rate AscendZ from Profile any time. We only ask after a real win, and never more than once a month. • If a screen runs into a problem, AscendZ says so and lets you try again. • Anonymous usage statistics help us see what works and fix what breaks. They never include anything you write. Fixes: screens that could look empty after a long break, the evening check-in on days you don't open the app, and syncs that stopped when you left the app. ### 1.1 — 2026-09-17 A line to start each day: a short quote every morning at 8, and a quote card the first time you open Ascend. Nudge a buddy when a shared habit is still open, and get an optional alert when they keep one. Invite a buddy with a link they can tap. Pull down on Today or Habits to sync. Hold and drag to reorder goals and habits. Every notification switch now lives in one place, under Profile. Fixes: screens that could look empty after a long break, the evening check-in on days you don't open the app, and syncs that stopped when you left the app. ### 1.0 — 2026-09-14 No release notes. ## Apps similar to AscendZ | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Pet AI - Nutrition Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pet-ai-nutrition-tracker/id6758164490) | 3.0 (2) | Free | Health & Fitness | | [Intuition Lab](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/intuition-lab/id6784137047) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [SIDEKICKK](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/sidekickk/id6754905643) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [Maui Powerhouse Gym](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/maui-powerhouse-gym/id1543933558) | 3.4 (10) | Free | Health & Fitness | | [uHoo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/uhoo/id1084953997) | 2.4 (37) | Free | Health & Fitness | | [AEKE Fit](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aeke-fit/id6738979301) | 4.1 (12) | Free | Health & Fitness | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
