## Newest reviews (11 of 43)

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work!

*2025-08-12, version 2.20.0*

Every day I have to delete the app and reinstall to get it to work so I can view my exercises and log my activity.

### 4/5 — Much better

*2025-03-22, version 2.18.0*

A significant improvement in reliability, interface, and user friendliness since a few years ago. However it could be even better with a few issues addressed:

1. Progress is not saved when moving between the exercise list and how-to videos. It’s quite annoying to have to remember what you scored for discomfort every time if you want to review the videos.
2. The need for a video section at all is redundant, just integrate them with the exercise list. Why not?
3. It’s far too easy to accidentally edit the sets, reps, hold, and discomfort sliders when scrolling down through the exercise list. This could be avoided by reducing the sensitivity or range of these buttons, or adding an edit button that when turned on allows the fields to be changed, but otherwise they are fixed.

Incorporate these minor quality of life improvements and the app will be stellar!

### 2/5 — Pretty terrible and unintuitive

*2023-06-09, version 2.3.0*

I was sent a link for this app by the physio company provided by my insurance company, so at least I’m not paying for something this terrible. First off I was getting notifications saying there was something to review for me in the app (the contact at Ascenti had told me I’d need to complete a questionnaire prior to my appointment so I was expecting it) but the page in the app was blank, after trying and checking every part of the app I contacted support- that was over 2 weeks ago and no response to date. I attended my in person appointment and explained this to the physio who told me not to worry, I was assigned some video exercises and a survey in the app. When I got home I could see the questionnaire but the video section was blank, I assumed because I was to start them the next day. The next day the video section was still blank, after poking around I found that the default settings in the app are not to download videos! So now I download them and it keeps my compliance rating less than 100% because ‘I missed day 1’. 2 weeks later I go to my second appointment and the physio assigns new exercises to do every other day, again nothing appears in the app for days. I note the app says ‘program last updated’ and the date of my initial appointment. It turns out if you click on the date it then refreshes. Why wasn’t this explained? There was nothing in the app to suggest this was a thing. The lack of basic communication in the app and from their support is astounding.

### 4/5 — Wrong

*2022-12-07, version 2.2.0*

Got my systems wrong don’t have osteoporosis!
Rheumatoid arthritis! Exercises made things worse! Back pain and anxiety! 😫

### 1/5 — Poor video quality

*2022-11-18, version 2.2.0*

Poor video connectivity, can’t attend video assessment

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2022-10-27, version 2.2.0*

My program code and Yob works on the webpage but when I try and login in the app I get the same error message and there’s nowhere to access help so I have deleted it.

### 1/5 — Exercises

*2022-08-04, version 2.1.18*

Can’t access them as can’t put my access code or dob in!

### 2/5 — Exercise good, but…

*2022-07-27, version 2.1.18*

… the app is very slow to record progress, it takes as longer to save the results than it does to complete the exercises. This can’t be right!

### 1/5 — Cannot access my programme

*2022-06-04, version 2.1.18*

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to access my programme via the app, despite communication with and following the advice of the support team so I’ve just had to delete it. I have full access via the website so will continue to use that. Shame as I’d like the convenience.

### 1/5 — What is this

*2022-04-14, version 2.1.18*

Self help therapy through the NHS ?

### 1/5 — Very poor service

*2022-04-07, version 2.1.18*

I am in great pain not been able to sleep or even stand straight and their waiting time to face to face appointment is 3 months what they offer is virtual exercise which I can read in any book. I needed face to face appointment as I have arthritis in my both hips but could not have.
I wish the NHS used a different company which they have less waiting time

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor connection

*2025-09-18, version 2.21.0*

Connection was poor.

### 1/5 — Unable to login therefore useless

*2025-01-24, version 2.16.0*

Using the code I was given I am unable to login. However the web version works fine.

### 1/5 — Regularly won’t load

*2024-11-07, version 2.15.0*

When it works it’s good but, over the past 4 weeks, had to delete and reinstall it 5 times as it just stops loading, get a blank screen and spinning wheel. Emailed to raise a concern and didn’t get a coherent response . My phone software is up to date- maybe that is the issue!

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2024-10-07, version 2.14.0*

Program code is accepted on website but not in app.

### 1/5 — Disappointed with new app

*2024-10-02, version 2.14.0*

New app version does not allow flexibility. For example, I am unable to go back and log previously missed exercise routines (that I have now done).

I used to previously be able to do so, and see my progress. This was available before and helped me keep motivated, now it’s gone, so has my motivation. So, I dislike the new app

### 1/5 — Can’t open updated App

*2024-09-25, version 2.14.0*

Apparently the App had a big update and now I can’t open it. I just get the spinning loading circle

### 1/5 — Awful

*2024-06-03, version 2.11.0*

The physio themselves is great. This app is a shambles.

### 1/5 — One star because there’s no zero option

*2023-01-05, version 2.2.4*

Terrible company and terrible app.

Left standing outside at -2 on a bad ankle just to get an assessment but then unable to book a follow up appointment and wasn’t given any exercises to get on with.

I’ve lost months of rehab time

Pointless, I may have well googled “physio for ankles”

### 1/5 — Mystified

*2022-12-17, version 2.2.0*

Clicking open directed me to a number of PDFs which when opened were in double Dutch.
Useless.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2022-11-25, version 2.2.0*

This app has been completely unusable to me. The user experience is nonsensical. I had to fill out a mandatory questionnaire over the phone because it showed up as a blank page in the app. All I see are perpetual loading indicators and random embeds of PDFs, and some kind of calendar that redirects me to that same list of PDFs if I select a day. What was going through the developers heads I wonder? Super disappointed in Ascenti’s services all because they use this app as the source of truth for their “program” which still hasn’t appeared for me. My advice to anyone, ask yourself whether your service really needs an app or just a web page with a list of resources.

Rhian was amazing so understanding and sympathetic. Very pleasant young lady a pleasure to talk to her. Thank her very much

### 5/5 — Exceptional service

*2025-06-18, version 2.20.0*

I had an exceptional online physiotherapy consultation with Matthew Blackstock. His expertise was evident from the start, he conducted a thorough assessment, explained in detail my condition , and tailored a recovery plan. Not only did Matthew provide me with a range of exercises, but also went the extra mile by arranging a face to face local physiotherapy appointment for me. His professionalism, care, and knowledge made all the difference. I highly recommend Ascenti and Matthew Blackstock. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2023-05-12, version 2.3.0*

I have been receiving guidance from physios for 12 months. Although my hip pain persists, I have found the exercises have strengthened my hip joints. The physios are friendly and understanding 👍🏻

### 5/5 — Neck and jaw

*2022-07-11, version 2.1.18*

### 5/5 — Physio

*2022-07-07, version 2.1.18*

I have never done an online consultation, but it was straightforward, the physio was very pleasant and helpful.
A good overall experience.
Thanks

### 5/5 — Eric

*2022-06-29, version 2.1.18*

Many thanks to Eric at Ascenti for helping with my exercises on my neck over the last few months, I have felt a good improvement in movement and will continue the exercises

### 5/5 — Very helpful and practical

*2022-05-17, version 2.1.18*

Down to earth with a healthy sense of humour. Look forward to follow up next week.

### 5/5 — Physio for back pain

*2022-04-06, version 2.1.18*

Initially had very little hope of it working. However, talking things over with Tanzin and the reassurance she gave through the sessions I patiently continued with the expertises and after two months the pain has reduced significantly.

I still have work to do and it will be something that I will have to maintain but it is worth it to feel generally pain free and happy.

Therefore, I highly recommend the service given and please don’t give up.

Fran johnson.
