## What is ASCNT?

Your next adventure starts with the right people.

ASCNT is a community for hikers, backpackers, climbers, and mountaineers looking for compatible partners and shared objectives. Whether you’re planning a casual weekend hike, your first major summit, or an ambitious alpine objective, ASCNT helps you find people who want to take it on with you.

DISCOVER WHAT’S NEXT

Explore upcoming hikes, summits, and outdoor objectives posted by the ASCNT community. See where people are going, when they’re heading out, what experience level is expected, and how many spots are available.

Find an objective that matches your goals, experience, location, and schedule—then view the details and request to join.

FIND YOUR MOUNTAIN CREW

Join the Crew Matching Pool to connect with hikers looking for similar adventures. ASCNT considers factors such as location, experience, age range, and hiking style to help form more compatible groups.

Whether you prefer relaxed day hikes, sunrise starts, fast summit pushes, or challenging alpine days, ASCNT helps you meet people who approach the mountains like you do.

PLAN AND HOST OBJECTIVES

Already know where you want to go? Create your own objective and invite other hikers to join.

Add the destination, date, difficulty, required experience, available spots, and important trip details. You decide whether you want a small hiking group, an experienced summit team, or a larger community adventure.

Keep track of objectives you’ve joined, hosted, completed, or shown interest in—all from one place.

COORDINATE IN GROUP CHAT

Every crew and objective can have its own group conversation. Introduce yourself, discuss equipment, choose a meeting point, confirm start times, share weather updates, and make final plans before heading out.

ASCNT keeps the people, objective details, and conversation together, so important information doesn’t get lost across different apps.

BUILD YOUR OUTDOOR PROFILE

Create a profile that shows other hikers who you are and what you’re prepared for. Share your experience, completed summits, goals, preferred hiking style, time in the mountains, and relevant gear.

A useful profile makes it easier for potential partners to understand your background and determine whether an objective is a good fit.

FOR EVERY KIND OF ADVENTURE

ASCNT isn’t limited to one state, mountain range, or type of trail. Connect with people locally or plan objectives farther from home.

Use ASCNT for:

• Casual hikes and local trails
• Sunrise and night hikes
• Backpacking trips
• Peak-bagging objectives
• Colorado 14ers
• Alpine and mountaineering goals
• Community summit events
• Future climbing and ski objectives

THE MOUNTAINS ARE BETTER SHARED

Finding the right hiking partner shouldn’t depend on luck, scattered social media posts, or convincing friends who aren’t interested.

ASCNT brings outdoor people together around a specific place, date, and objective. Find your crew, make a plan, and turn the next summit into a shared experience.

Download ASCNT and discover where your crew is heading next.

Important: Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. ASCNT does not guarantee user qualifications, trail conditions, weather, equipment, or personal safety. Always research your route, check current conditions, carry appropriate equipment, communicate your plans, and make decisions within your abilities.
