Therefore I could not use it as a diagnostic tool for my 9 year old. ### 2/5 — Review *2021-06-04, version 1.5.0* It is a spectrum for a reason. My son came up with low likelihood and is L2 ASD. He has a desire for social engagement but isn’t great at it. He makes eye contact and gestures but his autism affects his literal use of language and being able to contextually construct stories and sequence things. His a very typical markers but it isn’t always black and white. However, the quality of the videos are fantastic. ### 2/5 — Good for boys *2019-12-05, version 1.3.1* This app is skewed towards males. I find this a great helpful tool and appreciate so much research behind it, however there is no sound on the videos. Nevertheless without the sound still helpful ### 3/5 — Great idea! Still a few bugs to iron out… *2024-04-28, version 1.5.1* A great and needed tool to help families with children under 2.5yrs who want to screen for signs of autism using a validated questionnaire. I was able to register, enter my child’s details and complete the screening. I felt the screening result was accurate. Two bugs I noticed: the “forgot password” feature isn’t working - it doesn’t actually send a password reset email. I tried several times. I got around this by registering again but with a different email address. The other bug was some of the links to websites are broken. I hope you manage to iron things out as something like this is needed out there for families. If there were the option to complete it annonymously I’m sure even more people would use it. ### 3/5 — App fine, content only partly helpful. *2021-04-13, version 1.4.0* This app worked fine (although I didn’t use the videos), but it’s useless for identifying girls on the spectrum who don’t fit the “classic presentation”. Fine for boys (and girls) who are showing those typical textbook signs, but not the girls (and boys) who are exceptional maskers and have the often overlooked “girl” presentation of ASD. ### 3/5 — Repeated login issues *2017-11-26, version 1.3.1* This is a really useful tool, however I keep having login issues (despite resetting password etc).
