- Filter by magnitude, altitude above the horizon, constellation, object type, and more.
- Search by common name, catalog number, constellation, object type, or detailed classification.
- Browse the solar system and deep-sky categories.
- Return quickly to recent searches and recently viewed objects.
- See which planets are visible.
- Save favorite objects for future viewing.
- Use your current location or select any location on Earth.
- Check sunrise, sunset, twilight, and night times.
- Follow the current moon phase, illumination, moonrise, moonset, and the next new and full moons.

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

*2026-04-11*

I forgot I had this app. The easy integration of the various sections of data is good. For its convenience in a small size footprint, the details zooming in on the images is surprising. Unfortunately they don’t have a real website. They use Facebook. I don’t and won’t. Social media has brought ills on the under 30 year olds.

### 5/5 — Great App

Perfect for astrophotography and selecting targets. Love the favourites feature. Would be cool to submit user photos of objects

### 4/5 — Beautiful App!

*2020-10-26*

This is a beautiful, stable, well-organized, and easy to use app that helps me plan my skywatching sessions.

It reports the current lunar phase and lists notable deep sky objects on display based on your location. This is a big help as I choose Messier objects to check off my list.

I like this app so much that I’d like it to do even more to help me plan my viewing. For example, it would be helpful to include solar data (sunrise/sunset), planetary data (where are the “wanderers” this evening), meteor showers, and other celestial events—e.g., conjunctions.

Even as-is, this is a high quality app. It is easily worth its current low price, and I would pay $10 for an equally well-designed app that incorporates additional information.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback! It's been invaluable as a guide of what features to add next. In fact, an upcoming update will include solar and planet info. And definitely researching how to include the rest!

### 5/5 — Impressed!

Fantastic app! Very impressed. Especially since it is free. This is what I needed for planning my observing sessions. Thank you!
