To get 3 stars is no characters must die but all your opponents have one shot auto kill… not amused. This is poor planning or just bad coding. Inexcusable. Delete game after 3rd battle in. This is one of the best Tactical Turn based war and Deck Builder type games there is. The game was shut down years ago. So I have been playing ash of gods the way in place of it which is a fantastic game as well. It’s just like This game. If you have played Banner saga or Any of the ash of gods titles, THIS is a must. The medieval Style Units and art is phenomenal. The different factions are each So well done. The cards and battle mechanics and Field /Board in which you fight is aesthetically pleasing. One of the greatest games of its type. BUT Ash of Gods “The way” just came out on play store. And That game is “ASH Of Gods Tactics 2” basically. There is also Ash of Gods “Redemption” which is for those who want more. But Ash of Gods The way gives you exactly what Tactics did. Except there is no Multiplayer matchmaking for the way. (which was the best part of tactics. Even playing against ai opponents In quick matches would work well for future ideas) But as A hardcore veteran player of ash of gods tactics before the servers went down. I can say Ash of Gods The way Takes the best of Tactical Strategy War Table top games. And CCGs, With Units and factions each having their own Unique Tactic or Moves. Add in Item Cards and A Beautiful Medieval Inspired Roster of Factions and units and support cards, backgrounds and maps and you have a one of kind medieval Strategy Tactics game that can really put your brain To work. After all what’s the fun in playing a game that holds your hand. Ever really felt like You had something to lose? Or were nervous to lose? Or the opposite end, right when the game thinks you know the basics and Are getting the hang of it, then you find yourself against your first real Challenge. Where you lose. Lose again. Lose again. And Go back and Craft your deck and cards to really make a plan and come back and win? Just give the game a chance until you start getting Cards and units from all factions. The really good ones. This is a start up *amazing studio* I am not going to ruin their chances of getting successfully noticed over what maybe or may not be an oversight. (Giving them benefit of the doubt) we need more devs like this when you see their catalog that we are getting from them. 2) It cost you no money to to try it out. If it had cost money I would had given it 1 star and a verbal lashing to the devs. DEAR DEVS, Just tried downloading today, upon launching As progression bar fills up, the continuous pop up message appears: “Cannot connect to server” After progression bar fully fills up, nothing happens. Just wanted to make you guys aware. I can feel there is a group of people who really love s-RPG game. The only “flaw” of the game is you don’t need spend any money because the system is very fair and generous.
